its been a couple of years but glad to have my tractor/welding fix again on RU-vid..

Got a ford 901 Powermaster I have to do this to. Clutch is shot. Its runs fantastic once you get the carburetor working right. Same transmission.

neutral is where you can move shifter up and down. those are great transmisions, with 3rd and reverse at tghe top, 4th and fifth in the middle and 1st and second on the bottom.

Neutral is in the middle and push down for the other gears. 5 forward 1 reverse

Stacked "H" pattern, neutral is when you're able to move up and down.

Pretty nice work! Reminds me of my old 3000 Ford. Those Ford's were okay. Power steering sure is nice on a tractor like that. Especially if it has a loader on it!

I powder coated my welder green aswell. Matches my service truck, green 97 12 valve cummins. I always try to do a 100%

In my limited experience, on loader tractors, the large bolts that mount the loader to the tractor, and those that hold major assemblies together are often missing. They might have simply fallen out over the years.

Neutral should be where the shifter moves up and down

Did you guys ever finish the clutch on that Nissan Pathfinder?

Chuky I’m no expert but when the shifter slides up n down it’s in neutral I believe .

You probably figured this out, but did you put sealant on the front timing cover bolts that went into the water galleries?

just a quick thought might there be a conflict between the alternator on the compressor and the one on the welder engine

Its not hard packed disgusting oil it's preservative! Missing bolts didn't get torqued and rattled out I'll bet

it looks like you did a lot of unnecessary work,why not split it at bellhousing and not touch the motor?
