So one cool thing about the trains is that they can travel in unloaded chunks. As long as the station & any supporting automation (pumps, farms, etc) are loaded it's good enough!
Might be worth checking the chunk boundaries around the station that keeps breaking. My guess is that the station is in a different chunk to the track that it's connected. Just a guess though might just be some other bug.
2:26 that one looks bigger due to the landscape in the background causing an optical illusion. Your eyes are automatically drawn to that side to the other one is at the corner of your eye.

@@deedeethedog05 It's boring when he uses only the gearshifts for every build instead of using a variety items to speed things up. Its clear you didn't watch the part when he looks up the speed controller and he likes how does this work. I hope this does what I think it does. This is why people yell at him because he plays like this is his first time playing with these mods that he has used in every series b4 whatever current pack he is playing.
If your looking for the dire dirp this episode. He set the lava station to wait on item delay, there is a setting for fluid delay that he should be using.
That’s what I loved about create above and beyond, it focuses mainly on create, with a handful of other mods like Pam’s harvest craft and AE2 just to make life easier
I know this is pre-recorded but for anyone who plans on going in and out of nether portals all the time get the portal charm, makes the teleportation effect instant.
If I've learned one thing from this modpack, it is that I could play a smaller one with just pneumaticraft and create (and the supporting mods for both, and QOL mods) and have a great time.
Making a custom pack focused on one or two content mods is great fun. One of my favorite custom packs I ever did was more or less just botania + thaumcraft with some qol mods
I can’t wait to see if the create team make another create above and beyond pack in 1.18 because it was really fun, and it would be cool if they added a couple of other mods like pneumaticraft and computer craft as well
Create really may be one of the best mods to ever be made for MC. Seriously its incredible both visual and functional. Reminds me of the feeling Mo Creatures gave back in the day when it first came out. Adds enough to make the game feel different. I wonder what a storage system with create would look like. Be sick to have something like RS and AE that fits with Create better.
I know someone who's working on basically that, an AE2/RS-like storage system and autocrafter with Create, it's crazy impressive. (and crazy big), tho theirs is just using redstone and hypertransfer and whatnot rather than making an actual mod
I think it would take some design notes from thaumcraft 1.4 automagy's storage system, which used chests, golems, and a request table - golems could fetch items in and out for you. Something like that maybe with a mechanical arm and belts?
@@GavinBisesi Maybe using the end for a resource that allows a ender storage like system? Can use the arm to pull out of the storage for autocrafting. Is there anything used in create from the end? I cant recall.
You missed the opportunity to reuse the original portal from the other side. so it looks like the train disappears for a time, then reappears with more stuff onboard.
a way to make your lava transfer a bit more compact, if create has a way to have pipes be next to each other without connecting you can make a two tall tank, have a pump on the top side taking lava from the train and having a second pump on the bottom side of the tank touching the first pump sharing the rotational power and less gears
"Interdimensional Cow Conductors" sounds like something from a magic mod based on the concept of "animal magnetism". Ideas flowed freely from there: Static sheep, conductive cows, item fetching wolves, pig farmers, fishing squid, and so on. Sadly, my programming days are basically over or I'd try to make that mod.
Technically, a conductor is in charge of the cargo/passengers, while the engineer is in charge of the power /driving the train. This bit of useless information is brought to you by Marijuana!
While its a part of the assembled train its a part of the entity so its not technically a bed. Doesn't it explode from trying to sleep in the nether and not just placing a bed? Either way it wouldn't unless you disassemble the train.
I am currently doing a series playing Enigmatica 8 on a server with some friends and I believe it has the same or similar train mod, and my buddy has spent hours trying to figure it all out. It has been funny listening to him in Discord getting frustrated xD

despite the fact that create is best mod ever made, and the trains are now matching the real "Lego" settings on mc, these "boxes" are just the train model you can do? 🙂
Considering he could've just done all stone bricks I think its good. He might make it look nicer by exchanging the stone bricks on the bottom of the train cars to a wood plank variant, but I'm terrible at designing stuff in mc so it probably wouldnt.
He spent an episode or two *trying* to make it look nicer already. He could’ve just make it out of cobblestone. Dire is not a builder, as anyone who has watched like 1 episode would know.
There is a mod in development called create aeronautics which will make this sort of thing possible, as well as on airships, but it is still in development at the moment. The creators have released a couple of clips of it in action if you are interested
