Now that we have everything setup properly, its time to try moving nodes around, and checking out what shrines can do! Now Livestreaming at: dw20.live/tw Follow me on Twitter: dw20.live/twitter
@@MrShadowTempest looks like it but if the shrine somehow dropped a copy of itself into the world wouldn't there be a pickup sound? Edit: you can see the node slightly before the item in the inventory. So maybe opening the wireless terminal somehow put it there?
Hope there's something awesome to this in the end, after all this prep. On a personal level, still haven't wrapped my head around laser io or integrated dynamics yet.
LaserIO is pretty simple....Integrated Dynamic is another story, there is SO much it can do .... if you have masters degrees in Mathematics and Logistics but some things aren't too difficult and things like drilling down in the nbt is something no other mod can do.
You should make an integrated dynamics screen showing the percentage fullness of the nodes on one screen, and maybe something to notify if one of them is depleted?
I looked back, and that extra budding shrine just... appears. like it isn't there, and there isn't even a pickup animation it just is suddenly there at 30:10, it's really wierd
Would be really cool if LaserIO got a new node type (probably expensive lategame) that allowed you to connect one node to multiple blocks from a distance, similar to Draconic Evolutions wireless power system, but supported items and such. Maybe have one node link to muliple machines, then when you open it have them listed on the side. Would also be cool to have like a mini node that only connected to a single machine/block on one side, but was quite small do doesn't stick out quite as much, ideally look similar to your relays or something. Also, having an ability to hide the nodes would also be cool. Facades might be difficult, but perhaps having a "camouflage" slot where you place a block into it and the node simply mimics that entire block or something. Similar to travel anchors used to work. Or at least have the ability to change the colour of them.
If I understand you correctly, Actually Additions had MIMO laser relays like what you are describing. I'm honestly surprised LaserIO does not have something similar.
Guys, even if Dire spawned in the shrine at 30:10, You shouldnt care much. He already made one so its possible to get it and its singleplayer. Theres no competition or something
Direwolf20, Smoked Brisket, and eggs! (listen you start your day and I'll start my day!) (I worked hard on this brisket and got a LOT of leftovers so, experiment time) (I know it would be Direwolf approved) Has anyone made a Keurig mod? (I'm out of pods)
Dire! Hello darlin'! That set up makes me think empowerer meets Thaumcraft! Are you gonna do anything with Create's new trains? I'm so excited to give that a whirl. Been working a new job so haven't had time to play. Keep up the great stuff. You so totally rock!
you should make a advanced laser IO thing that can get a "location card" or something like that so then you can use one node to auto craft for altars and other such things (just obviously make it more expensive in some way or even require power to run given you have power cards?)
surprised you haven't tried to tick accelerate the tick accelerator yet. if that works then i wonder if you can keep stacking the tick accelerators on top of each other, which would get very crazy pretty quickly and you will certainly need a lot more air input to keep up with such a thing.
Why why why did you change the recipe for reactors endgame ingots I finally found out how to do it then I updated the pack and everything I learned is now breaking 😭😭😭
This mod leaves me extraordinarily confused. Lots of things to do, but not a lot of reward except for a few spells? Other than that, in my mind I keep comparing it to Thaumcraft. And every other magic mod in the universe just doesn't come close to the awesomeness that was Thaumcraft.
What happend to thaumcraft ? Its been a while since i played with it. Was thinking about it while watching the video. It made me remember the struggles with the analyser (ghat glassy thing) to analyse everything later on i learned that there was an addon that enabled you to scan a chest with items in it soo it could scan everything inside of it. So didnt have to scann manually (or they added it in the later versions). Good old days...
@@leo60228 hmm do you know if the mod devs are getting paid for the mods that are being used ? If not why dont they share the code (open source) so the other devs can keep updating it to newer versions.
It really does go to show the whole "to each their own" thing, since I actually was interested in all of the Elemental craft stuff (although definitely hoping we move on to something else soon), whereas I skipped through all the Mekanism reactor episodes because I didn't need to see Dire do the exact same thing he has done in every other series with Mekanism. I definitely feel like we are basically done with this mod though and hoping that Dire will maybe set up some automated harvesting of the shards and then move on to something else next episode.
Unfortunately, I kinda feel the same. The mod looks cool, but what can we actually do with it (apart from generate the resources for the mod itself). These last few episodes might have been better as a Mod Spotlight.
Lets try to enchant it... hmm doesn't work. "Let me play around a bit" Suddenly continues with automating pure crystal without an update if he managed to do it or not. Typical dire and he forgot he had the botania enchanting. But hey thats what we like about him
