The rumor is that some Bambulabs filaments are made by Sunlu. I buy most of my PLA and PETG for the X1C from Sunlu as these also are compatible with the AMS.
Bought 20 kg meta black and 10 kg white for 11 dollars per kg. 330 dollar for 30 kg. You have to live in EU for that price. USA other country is 14 dollar and this price is only for meta black and white.
@@greedy3d480 thinknit was a special type I just so happened to pick. I took the filement off those reels and put them on some other reels that I had for the Toybox printer. Was tedious but worked.
Sunlu is my go-to filament. During a moment of madness, I flirted with Overture Matte PLA, an absolute nightmare. I wouldn't use it again if it was free.
I got some SUNLU PLA the rainbow colour. However, I am having difficulties on my ender 3 and I don’t know why. I am using prusa slicer. Temp 210, speed 60mm/s, .4mm nozzle and .2mm layer. I have increased decreased these setting with no luck. Either it does not adhere or does not extrude a continuos filament. It rather extrudes in blobs. Any help?
I tried to print with Sunlu Clear Crystal and it was a TOTAL DESASTER (2023). I never had any mentionable trouble with any other filament (Bamabu, Prusa, Amazon). But those filaments are a nightmare and nothing else. It's HORRIBLY made with lots of spots and differences in diameter. I bought three pcs and all are the same. Stay away from this filament at any cost unless you want to run into trouble (and maybe a broken extruder).
I guess you can only really advise on what you see and what you find I didn't have any trouble with their filaments really it's not my go-to filament but when I tested them I had zero problems and I've had some use with them since and had no problems strange isn't it
@@greedy3d480 Thanks for that. I have printed with many filaments in the past, among them various clear ones. What I have endured with the Sunlu filament was simply a nightmare. It is definitely a quality issue as I can feel the changing diameter of the filament and the spots/bumps that it has. I have bought three spools, and they are all the same sub-par quality. Surely enough, I will not buy from then again.
@@sherlockhomes9919 Yes, I have posted it to a few sunlu reviews. As I explained to you in a different video, I have bought three roles crystal clear and all of them are basically unprintable. The filament varies in diameter all the time and it has "spots". All three roles. Not sure whether a bad batch or their normal quality but I will not buy from them ever again, of course.
Yeah, I use Sunlu for most of my filament. I have realized that their transparent ones are a lot more brittle and don't print as good. I would try some of their regular PLA. Not saying it's the best, but for the price it prints extremly well on my ender 3 v2.
