I have quickly become a "fanboy" of Umarex products... What till you see some of the thing I have on deck next :) Dont get me wrong, I still love my Byrna and, Salt Supply, and Pepperball products but Umarex is simply awesome! :)

@@AlternateArmsSD I was worried about the .43 caliber as opposed to .68. But after doing a ton of testing and spending a bunch of money on mags and rounds and stuff. I’m more than confident that a mag of .43 will stop most people. Especially if they see you aim at their head after they catch a few in a self defense situation. I would recommend a back up mag, but I’ve yet to have a single failure in about 1000s of rounds and various tests. Even the pvc nylon balls will puncture metals. How do you like the pepper balls? Im a fan of kinetics personally.

@@chriszimmerman9737 Honestly, until this test I wasn't sure. .43 cal is quite a bit smaller than the .68 but the firing rate and the sheer amount of dispersion on the pepper rounds made me a believer. I am going to conduct a few more tests with them but I was impressed. Kinetic, you just cant go wrong :)

What i think its good for selfdefense ? I dont talk against to a armed persone . I mean like agaist a drunk persone

Well, the cart was full BUT I was not using the heavier spring. This could have caused the lock back mechanism to fail. Wehn fired without a round in the magazine, it did lock back which further supports that theory. I'll run a few more tests on the next video. I am a huge fan and believer in non lethal self defense and I will continue to promote any companies that put forward a good product. Have a great weekend!

That actually makes sense based on the volume level that I was hearing. I have been led to believe there is a mod can be done but I’m going to look into it later. At the end of the day, it’s still ruptured the pepper balls nicely :-)

I’ve seen the fps reach over 400 with the ppq. Depends on the rounds you are firing.

This is incorrect. According to Umarex website, T4E S&W M&P9 M2.0 BLACK .43 CALIBER CO2 MARKER - 355 FPS, the PPQ M2 Gen 2, shoots the same. It’s all about preference in which one you go with. Keep in mind these are .43 caliber weapons. They don’t need or require the same power that a .50 or .68 caliber weapon will require to be effective. Even at 280 fps with aluminum riot balls 1.9 grams your going to have a very effective self defense weapon.

Hey Brother, No I wasnt. I emailed one of the designers and they were stumped too. Id warranty return that through Umarex. It might help them locater and correct any future issues.

Almost!! We just got the order form built for the HDP50, TR50, and thw Umarex shotgun. I'm also going to offer these as stock, modded, or I'll be offering the service to mod customers currently owned launchers. The ammo will be coming online very shortly. This is quite a bit of work :)

Very slightly but man did they explode. I had a guy come in to the flea market last weekend asking me how effective these were against body armor. I had to chuckle a little. Pepperballs love body armor :-)

Yes and no. Ive actually had a Walther PPQ punctured for close to a year now and it has still held charge. That being said, Id use a quick pierce magazine for any of the T4E line. That way, when you need it, you have full power. Also, you dont have to worry about seal wear and tear or weather conditions affecting the pressure.

@@robborr5096 The LE is a great launcher. Howeve, Byrna does have a premium price tag. Recently did a video comparing the Eli to the SD and HD directly. You might take a look at that. Also, take a look at the umarex, HDP50 or TR 50 fully modified.

Greetings, there are no major modifications that can be done. There are very minor modifications that can determine the hammer fall and duration giving you a little bit more power but nothing that is substantial. with these, it’s all about the ammo and they will practically fire everything :-)

It is .43 cal.. My chrono was dead, hence the lack of FPS.. In the next video we will have a .43 cal head to head.

@@xxxpitydafoolxx greetings, yes, and no. Yes, I have been working with a new manufacture for ammunition, and I should be able to supply it sometime in February. Ironically, I had to have them made in a lab. As far as shaped rounds in these, I’m afraid not. Because of the way the magazine feeds they have to be around balls. However, that does not stop you from getting creative. They will fire the rubber/steel infused, aluminum, and even steel.

Greetings! Well, I regularly carry the TPM1. However, I don't have many issues with any of the other models (Walther PPQ or the S&W). I alternate the pepper and rubber balls for self defense. I am also working on a new, and very nasty, recipe for some pepperballs which I should have for sale soon on my site. Stay tuned for that. You are correct about the Byrna. Its a great weapon but accessories and ammunition an be pricey. I do carry my Byrna from time to time but you simply cant compare to the realism of the Umarex models. I have the Walther PPQ and use the riot nylon balls and pepper balls for self defense. Cannot go wrong with that setup

Careful, make sure you use the soft spring with the pepper balls and load them carefully, make sure the lines are horizontal so they don’t crack. Speaking from multiple experiences lol.

@@TrpleP definitely. It seems the PPQ is the most powerful for some reason.

You can fire it without ammo. Just hold down the lever on the left side of the launcher and repeatedly pull the trigger until the C02 is gone. Also, you can use the allen key to SLOWLY release the pressure from the C02 cart as well in the magazine.

I have been everywhere looking for a power mod for the s&w 43 cal I think it would be best gun all around if it just had more power ,well I found one for the PPQ which should be same platform as s&w

Decided to continue tinkering with .43 cals today (PPQ for this one) After quite a bit of time understanding the mechanics, I felt like more could be done other than porting it as well as delete blowback. After stripping it down to its bare bones, I decided that a key aspect of the T4E .43’s is specifically, the speed and duration to which the pin makes contact/actuates the magazine Co2 valve. With this, I decided to take apart the hammer assembly and increase the tension on the spring that actuates the hammer. After 3 runs of adjusting to make sure I had proper shot consistency and speed, I have put it down, quite satisfied with this mod. Ending results after porting, blowback delete, and hammer spring modification shooting a 2.02 gram steel core ball we’re the following- Peak- 465FPS First magazine average- 452 2 magazine average- 431 First Mag Avg Joules- 20.59 Second Mag Avg Joules- 17.6 Note- Shot count per Co2 decreased by 35% Each post was done with a fresh Rap4 Co2

@@01234554321able greetings, absolutely. The hammer spring was something I was looking at myself. Anything that increases the duration of the valve release is going to increase pressure. You are 100% correct about the blowback. I’ve seen this in all of the humorous products. The blowback, itself, draws a considerable amount of CO2 to perform the action. Once you have deleted that action, you gain a great deal more power. of course, losing the action also loses some of the allure to the weapon. Those are some fantastic results you’re getting! You’ve got to love Umarex, they put out a hell of a product.

It seems to fire with the same velocity as the TPM1 but it is notably quieter.

That’s your choice. My point is, there are alternative ways to defend yourself. Nothing on my site, my channel, or in my booth is lethal. And also like to point out, guns do not kill people. People kill people. At some point, personal responsibility must mean something.

Well, of the 3 the Byrna will be the easiest to use.. Its point and click more or less. For power.. The HDP50 can put out a heck of a punch. Whichever you go with, have her practice with it regularly to make sure that, if he ever does need it, she knows exactly how to use it.
