Yeah, on this one I do agree. The kinetic rounds are fantastic if you’re using one of the modified HTP 50s, but you are right on this one it wouldn’t be super effective. it never ceases to amaze me how California, and other states, have refused to allow their citizens to protect themselves while simultaneously allowing crime to increase.

@@AlternateArmsSD So far Byrna is the only company that has provided a way to let those of us in California to buy Pepperball and Pepperball Max ammo. The testing they've provided isn't too hard, but it is detailed so you need to pay attention.

You can indeed. I’ve tested glass and ceramic without any issues. However, both of them tend to shatter when they hit solid objects sending shrapnel every direction. Be careful as those could be lethal.

On these, indefinitely. The nitrogen is not punctured until you use it. That’s one of the things that makes these so amazing!

Well, sort of. I’m actually working with a manufacturer that is supposed to have a spring loaded pepper ball launcher. I have yet to test it though so I would never recommend it :-) as far as BB or pellet guns, theoretically you could use both if you were close enough and proficient with a Weapon. Now you could always go with one of the mace and pepper sprays or pepper gels. I do have a very interesting that pepper gel launcher that I’m gonna be testing on the channel shortly. I am intrigued because it’s got the accuracy of a pepperball but this stuff is nasty. It sticks to you. Not only does it have the pepper spray aspect but it also has a dye built in to identify the attacker. Stay tuned….

@@AlternateArmsSD really exited for that spring loaded one! Any recommendations on bb or pellet guns that work without co2 though? A friend of mine wants one but she’s worried about the co2 running out or being bulky. She’s also afraid of using pepper projectiles or sprays. Personally I’d instantly go for an hdp 50 but I don’t really know much about bbs or pellets, especially the few ones that work perfectly without co2.

Well, after the video I fired a ton more. It has a plastic insert that contains the powder. (Sort of like a shotgun shell) It moves so fast I couldn’t see it though :) This company should go far if they keep putting out amazing stuff like this!
