She's rocking......and in true furze style its got way to big n heavy and destroys itself haha. If I do make a MK3 I could improve it again but for now the furze shred 500c will get me y for my shredding needs. Check out my other crazy inventions if your new and give that bell a tinkle.
I was thinking the same thing! He was like: "Better make sure I got the mail in". Then: BZZZZZZZZZ MINCE MEAT NO ON CAN HELP YOU NOW! AAAAH! HELP ME, I'm GETTING EATEN, PLEASE HE.. GALBBLAGLBLALBLBBB.... Silence
Thats actually quite safe. If the Postie sticks his Hand in it he will let off the Button. Next Time he can´t even press the Button and stick his hand in because he now has only one Hand left. See? Safe!
Markus_B It’s good he’s not over there in America, people would stick there hole arm in and then sue him for not putting warnings on it or some dumb other thing.
Colin could make it even safer by adding an automated cauterizing torch that turns the little bits into ashes for added security for people that may put the shreds together to find identity theft info and also take up even less space in the rubbish, as well as cauterizing any flesh that may enter the shredder. He should also do it because the excess blood will rust the gears.
Just a thought, if you are going to continue inventing these most useful devices, it may be a good time to start your own line of prosthetic arms and legs. Because in this line of work, you will never know when you will need a new hand, arm, leg, foot or even a replacement neck, as tie accidents are on the rise.
For recycling it’s an absolutely genius idea. You could collect every 6 months rather than two weeks, and the government could spend more money on MP’s sports cars and fifth homes.
It would be disastrous for the environment. People would be tossing all kinds of stuff that don't belong in the bin as you cannot discern it when everything is turned into granulate.
Did you notice the Subliminal Advertisement? "Orange" Phone, a "Clock" and a Machine, that does most of the "Work". This Guy is trying to sell us an Orange Clock, for our Workplace, because, he is an Orange Clock Salesman, but, only on Satorangeday.
Would have been great to see a blower shoot the shredded bits out the bottom! Also, version three takes the shred, and shreds it smaller and smaller until it's just dust.

Now he's popular as the the one handed postman. The fun thing here is: He still got his Hand back... Much smaller and compact. My story telling is terrible jesus
Oh you know, just watched an insane British guy stuff a clock through a *DIY custom built except for the twin motors* shredder! For some reason the "built every part himself" bit gets me even more
I rather thought it was a waste of time. Or it ate the day up. I guess there was no saving face? Warning to all clocks: Keep hands away from the door-shredder. That's some plot-second footage. - - - I'm out.
-Hey jimmy, the last thing your grandfather did before he died was write you a letter, no one has read it and he said something very important is inside, I mailed it to you have you got it yet -Uhhhhhhhhhh
-Hey Jimmy, the last thing your grandfather did before he died was write you a letter, no one has read it and he said something very important is inside, he delivered it to you himself, have you got it yet ? -Double Uhhhhhhhhhh

If you notice where the shaft broke, then you can clearly see those tiny pins you put stressed a tiny area. I bet if you added more pins to connect the cog to the shaft it would work much better.
We use one of these to shred aerosol cans. It is 16" x 24". The shaft sizes are 2 3/4". I think it is 15 or 20hp. He is right use bigger shafts if you want it to last.
