Battle of Iwo Jima. Night of the March 25th, 1945. General Tadamichi Kuribayashi leads to the last charge the survivors of the Imperial Japanese Army. A great movie of war that teachs to love the peace. Vale Frates
A good game needs to be made where you can play as the Japanese and Germans as well as Americans, British and Russians. This movie is great and i'd sincerely recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it... especially some of the people i know who can only see things from the American perspective.
it is beautiful movie because it speaks the Asian tradition of war which I come to respect and love. The Japanese General is a Samurai Descendant That had inherited the wisdom and the good thinking It is Ashame that he died in the battle but he stayed honored to the end
Good morning Sir, not strange at all: it was the last charge, no more possibilities to coordinate a rational stand, it was just the opportunity to offer an example to the comrades in the Motherland. Thank you for your comment
It was a Marine wearing a P44 cap tackling a japanese who was trying to penetrate the line. Same thing at around 1:56 where another Marine wearing the same cap does a shoulder throw toward an incoming japanese soldier.
