(coming from an almost graduated cosmetology student:) Your mom actually did a really great job!! Her parting was spot on, and her directing while cutting the framing pieces was perfect! The only major concern is that she lost her guideline when she first started cutting so you may have a few layers with varying lengths but otherwise she did awesome!!

I had a really hard childhood without a stable family and to watch how much you and your parents and siblings love eachother and know eachother so well, it makes my heart grow three sizes. I know that not everything is perfect but to see real love in a family gives me hope. I love your videos, but these kinds are my absolute fav! I’m a hairdresser, your mom did great! She did a lot of techniques that we use all the time. A lot of fine hair isn’t easy. Gets tangly. You have beautiful hair but I totally vote for a short straight bob

MIA- pleaseeee get layers! You'll keep all of the length while adding so much volume and texture and it'll be so flattering for your face shape! For your mom - you should dye her hair a rose gold color or strawberry blonde! It would suite her complexion beautifully

I wanna say Mia, I’m a licensed cosmetologist. Your hair will both style better (hold curl) and brush easier if you chop off most your length. The snarls and lack of holding style comes from being weak hair strands. It’ll grow back a lot fuller and nicer too.

GET THE BIG CHOP!!! I had hip length hair and then I did i did the bug chop all the way to my chin and never went back!! So cute and so much easier! Also nice to donate hair! My hair is colored but there are places that take dyed hair still! Do it do it do it you won’t regret it it feels so good!

I had hair a similar length to Mia’s and had it cut a few weeks ago to just below my shoulders and donated the cut to a charity that make wigs for children with illnesses! Having my hair cut short was the best decision (but a tough one to make!) 💜
