@@felixdaniellajarathen5308 that's so true. I low-key wanna leave when I see Zagara as an ally especially when I play Stukov. I'd also put Kerrigan here if they play mass lings.
Fun fact. The infested bunker was a working model in the game long before stukov was a thing. Another fun fact. Tauren space marines have their own infested voice lines. “For the Hor- I mean swarm”
For plague warden, what about trying it on vermillion fire plains with donny since u can't walk across lava? Looking at your video I get the feeling that you might be handling them awkwardly. Preload the infested first until you're full? But my real gripe here is: why banshees and not liberators for the prestige? Tossing out infested could be some sort of version of infested liberator siege mode...blizzard really missed out on this one.
yeah when i first read the prestige i thought banshes would be mini alexanders and shooting the infested out. than i saw them and was oh its just a transporter
True it would be good if the infested liberator got some sort of ground siege mode like its uninfested version. Right now the infested liberator is too niche and too expensive. Worse. they do not synergise at all with the infested diamondbacks, since the diamondbacks snares enemy air units to the ground and liberators can only attack air units. Either give the liberator some sort of ground attack, or allow it to attack air units ensnared by the diamondbacks.
Honestly the entire thing feels more like a grinding mechanism to create repetitive content without actually creating 54 new commanders. For example if they wanted to do it properly they could have added in separate mastery template for each prestige so you don't have to respec every time you switch commander flavor, or even throw in different skins themes from already existing pool to different prestige. Don't even get me started on the dead upgrades, looks only at maxed level commander and while leveling you have 2-3 levels where you unlock an upgrade negated by the respective prestige so you just sit there shrugging at having unlocked a dud . Easy solution would have been just fill those in with a power tweaker for the prestige sets.... anyway pardon my rant. Its just one of those things that sticks out me to me as put in minimal design effort to demand maximum player time to unlock content.
Well, if you play with the "Grid"(i think its called like that in english) hotkey system, you got the same qwert, asdfg, zxcvb, for every single thing on the skills/commands pad, only thing is getting used to the locations they are placed but apart from that, easy to use. Idk why pros don't use it (guessing it has to do with apm) but i do just fine with it and if i'm actually interested in doing stuff faster i could, i don't play multiplayer mode anyway so i don't need that much speed xD. Oh and only thing i change for coop is the top bar power hotkeys, i put them on F3,F4,F5,F6 and maybe the protoss portal that has a unique key next to the F1 and F2, not much else.
So far I've actually found the 2nd prestige to have some high potential. I just play like normal and dedicate my banshees to scooping up the infested civilians and launching. Considering on any other prestige you technically can only have so many civilians before they die out, you can horde em, they don't take supply, and it allows you to put the most units possible of all the prestige's. 60 supply in banshees = 20. 20x16= 320 civilians. + 140 infantry. Might be overkill, but still fun. The FPS drop from doing that endgame is comical at the least!
Imo Stukov is quite gas heavy if you were to build anything more than just Infested Marines/Bunkers and Diamondbacks. As for the Plague Warden prestige, I think the idea is less to mass Banshees, but more to keep a few around to load up Infested infantry. Then you can shoot the infantry at enemies to absorb enemy fire and spread the DoT from the plagued munitions upgrade (hence the name of the prestige). Since the infantry don't time out when inside the Banshees, they can also accompany the Infested Siege Tanks and ensure they won't run out of ammo.
For P2, you only really need 3-4 banshees and you can play normally for the rest of the game. It's really good to push and the downside is pretty irrelevent. I'd actually like a rematch of Stucky P2 without massing banshees. Instead getting only a few and play normally
I have noticed since 5.0 that the enemy wave would try to go around your army if you camp along their expected path and even retreat from you when you're barreling down on them.
Why would they make these "far gasses"? They have a purpose for being this way, or were they just placed wrong? And if so, why blizzard did not correct them?
So they turned Banshees into Dropships, Thought of the same thing but I used the liberator because I thought Blizzard should replace the liberator with the medivac but with the same abilities + medivac abilities
I think the point of P2 is to solve the problem of amassed infected marine stuck at the back and send them to the front. I personally will play this prestige with the focus of bio units and few banshees.
that not how you abuse P2 banshee, no need mass them or upgrade them. The prestige is about using them to spreading the plague and deliver infested fast. Not using the banshee as your main damage dealer. Malware map is better to showcase cause you can throw infested across the valley.
Just no more then 11 banshees. 2 stacks from civilian center + 48 from baracs. At late game with spawn, my 3 barracs can't regen full charges and i need build 1 more for def:( But 176 terrans drop clean any foe's def or wave, except full air (stukov too bad against it, and full liberators needed. Or 60+ marines spawn per foe). And at 3 skill tree, +30 sec to infantry live timer - best option.
@CTG why don't you try to play with the GRID hotkeys? So it doesn't matter what ability a unit has just where it is placed in the grid (the box on the right with all the icons), and this setting limits the hand movement too
I assume he was going to cost efficiency... Also it's probably more effective with the time reduction to go for almost pure bunkers.. that said, I do love me a burst of marines
@@ChaoticNeutralMatt maybe, but the problem is, with bunkers you can pull your marines for launch on demand, everytime you want to make your initial strike, summon a ton of marines, load them up, and launch them, while also storing up Civilians as well. I don't think this Prestige of stukov was meant to rely on just civilians, and bunkers don't generate enough, fast enough.
Ctg why do u pick apocalisk cd vs alexander for the points? i enver know which one to pick so i would lvoe to ehar your reasinging so maybe i cna udnerstand better
It had nothing to do with my PC. My ally's internet connection was kinda spotty, and I can't afford to ask him to restart since I have a hard time looking for available people to play. I don't do this for a living, so you're right. I'm absolutely not a professional.
I'm playing Stukov as a beginner and holy shit the lag! I do enjoy moving around my bunkers, barracks, and civilian pods from place to place lol I like free periodic units
