In todays video we install a Rough Country leveling kit on my 2006 GMC Sierra z71! We also put on my 24x12 -44 Hardrock wheels and 33x12.50 Wildtraxx MT before I sell them!
I was so close to buying one of those a couple summers ago, it was mint too! Dude said he sold it before I got there, I was mad as hell, but I like what I have now.
Love your content. I love watching you wrenching on one of your pickups. I’m at the age where wrenching is out if the question for me. I enjoy watching you younger guys doing what I wish I could do.
My Grandpa past away this last year and he had a 2003 chevy 1500 I am going to buy so ya I am looking forward to modify ing it some ways you have I love the older truck vids .
Omg it looks so frickin good! Great job Lmf!!!!! My opinion though i woulda went with 20s or 22s at the most for a more mud truck build but either way it looks GREAT!
Thanks for shooting such good video footage because the people that watch this myself and others enjoy trucks in general I own a GEN five ram 1500 4 x 4 😷😜
Nice video. I did the shock spacers in the front and turned my stock keys up about all the way. I have the 3inch lift keys but it rides so rough right now I don’t even want to put the other keys in. Do the shocks make a big difference?
I'm thinking about installing some aftermarket keys... is the a cotter pin on the front that you have to take off so the torsin bar can move back abs forth
I wish my keys would have came out that easily 😭 I had to beat the crap out of them. But looks great man! Can’t wait to see what plans you have for it in the future .
I have a 2007 classic Silverado and I'm looking at getting some 22x12 on 33s. I have a leveled 2wd and I want your opinion. Do you think they'll fit with no rubbing?(plastic trimming is okay)
i know you said it hits on the bumper ..... but what about in the back of the wheel in the front how bad does it rub the fender .... ive got the same truck with the same level .. and im think about going from 22in stocks and 35s to 24x14s and 33s ... and my fender has the complete norcal mod where the back is slot cut and folded over flat so no pinch weld behind the inner fender ... and my bumper is cut ...had run 20x12s and 33s and spacers before this ....im just trying to be able to to get like 3/4 turn
Hey man love the vids… I just bought an 03 and I’m highly considering doing what you did here it looks awesome only think I’m concerned about is mileage with these gas prices and of course the ride was thinking maybe some newer factory’s would look really good any tips anyone tire size and rim size anything helps new to driving trucks thanks.
Hey man I have a quick question. I’ve got a 2016 gmc Denali on a 2.5 in level. I’m wanting to run 24x10 with 33x12.50 tires. Do u know if I would rub or have to run a 1in spacer to keep from rubbing?
Turn the wheels and record the turning limit. 20x12-51 and nitro 35's worked with my kryptonite level kit with the NorCal mod. I want non nitro 33's because most non nitro are smaller than advertised (32's) and will give more clearance.
Can you try 33's on the OEM rims with spacers? Also for the love of god I would love to see a different exhaust other than true dual straight pipes, longtubes with borla ataks?
What kind of tie rods did you get?? I got a set of kryptonite’s for my 1500 cateye and haven’t seen a single install video on them. You’d be the first (or at least the first I can find) for kryptonite.
I literally just ordered this kit for my 01 Silverado Z71.....because of your video. Thanks for posting these bud. Really helps a ton. Been meaning to do a small lift to my old girl for years, just never got around to it till now.
The rear blocks aren’t to get factory rake. Those are so it will be level. But even with the rear blocks in if u want a little lean the keys have a ton more crank and can lean it looks way better with rear blocks.
