Perfect. Simple & easy. Thanks for posting. This will probably keep me from a rear seat delete kit as well. I'm getting my TRMR rack in a week or so, and also an ikamper 3.o mini RTT in a couple months. Thanks again!
Gonna try my best to build this with some mild upgrades still trying to workout the design and features I want. Once I finished my build I’ll make sure to post it for everyone.
Thank you for providing the details, measurements and angles of the cuts! I also shamelessly copied your design and it works great. Same specs for Bronco Raptor. Hope to run into you in the mountains or the neighborhood. I owe you a beer or 6!
Just found your channel.i did a similar this with my outlander but had a full size spare behind the drivers seat.i created a flat bed but also internal storage
Nice. I had considered this as an option, but at 6’2”, maybe not. Considering a hammock from the front as a desperate option. I’ve seen it done in Wranglers. My ultimate plan is a trailer with tent on top. To drop it off at a base camp seems more ideal than a rack and tent on top to me. Subscribing to follow your progress.
I think that is how I’m leaning as well. It’d be nice to have a trailer to store everything in and like you said, set up base camp and go explore. But either way it’ll be nice to have that level area back there. Thanks for subbing!
Thanks for this video! Im looking for a way to level mine out. Wondering how to fashion it so I can have access to the upper storage-dont want any wasted space 🤔If you think of a way let me know before I build this! lol
Nice video - thanks for putting it together! I think I will duplicate this. I need the option to sleep in the vehicle when a RTT isn't an option. For once I think being 5'6" will finally come in handy.
That looks good. I've thought about the Ford tailgate table that slides out and levels out that area..... THE PRICE THOUGH! Maybe I'll end up going with this same fix if i don't decide to do the rear seat delete.
Have you weighed it with a full tank to establish a baseline so you know how much weight all your accessories end up weighing? That would be helpful to others on what to expect when spec-ing out their builds.
