Shingeki no Kyojin 3 - Episode 4 Japanese - 0:01 English - 0:13 Russian - 0:24 German - 0:36 French - 0:48 Italian - 1:00 #levi #leviackerman #shingekinokyojin
I love that "maybe I am" in japanese and french are somewhat menacing, english almost blank, russian low key smug, german kinda sad and italian is in the middle of all that
@@kingstarlp3067 yes but its not about having thr same exact 1:1 translation, but a translation which fits for the situation and for the native ear. I think our german VA did a very good job here. I like how it sound low key sad (but not sad for the guy, but more like melancholic but nevertheless menacing)
French makes Levi sound sneaky which I love lol Italian he sounds really pissed off when he's twisting his arm. Then he speaks in a deadly voice when he says "Maybe" 😂 Love the German one too. Japanese and English are the best though, The only one I do not like is the Russian one. He just sounds so creepy and unnerving.
Levi Ackerman doesn't sound right in some languages... The character himself is in the image of a psychopath, he does not know how to experience emotions and sympathy. All Ackermans are cold-blooded killers. And in this episode, he is like an expressive sociopath, although this is a deep delusion) It's very noticeable in French and Italian.. The English dub is really good in this episode. German and Russian are also good. And it seems to me that the directors (from France and Italy) did not notice or did not know this. All voices are more or less pleasant. In my opinion, Levi should have a chilling calm voice.
I'm sorry, but calling all Ackermanns cold-blooded killers and Levi a sociopath with no emotion or sympathy must be the worst take I have seen in a while... it completely undermines the complexity of his character.
Нет. К слову, оригинал только в этом моменте звучит хорошо. Леви на японском озвучивают, как будто он задыхается, и пытается на последнем глотке воздуха, что-то сказать, из-за чего это ещё звучит очень напряжено и ужасно.
