Pulled out my copy to play this evening while the wife was out and found your video to make sure I was doing it right. Spot on! The only thing I was hoping to see here was the use of the solo components on the locations. Now understanding it a little more, I assume that IF an Indian was in one of those locations when you use a gather wood action, you count the wood on your cards and add the number of Indians on a wood location? Other than that, awesome play, and filmed on your phone? That's solid! Your channel has another subscriber, keep up the great work.
Thanks for the play through, this has helped me to get started. As a solo player I found that the rules were a bit convoluted for me to play as two players. I might try to do the latter once I get used to actually get to play the initial solo variant . Always play solo which makes some of the many games I have quite tough going, if not virtually unplayable ! Thanks again and kind regards.
Thank you for the video, great walk through. I think at the end you should have move back 4 spots though, as you have 2 more indiens used by your cards. That said, you would have won anyway, as you would have spent your extra indiens, and the bot would not have enough time to catch up. Anyway, it was great to see you play solo, gives me perspective and new way of thinking when playing. Espcially, I always forget that I can discard on of my card to pay less for a new character. Also great advice to keep an even number of cards. Thank you Flav
+Flavien Charles, Yes I caught that too in rewatching, however I would only move back 3 spots, as 1 of the 4 natives would go on the single boat and not penalize my camp action... leaving me right on Fort Caltsop. I think i was just excited to pull off a win on video.
