Lewis & Clark "Live Play" Solo Adventure! 

At 4:10, you put an Indian on the "Gift" Village action, then you think & take an equipment & a food. But the "Gift" spot gives you either 2 wood or 2 pelts. Did I miss something, or did you mess up? Great vid by the way. I just played my first solo. Although not as good as multiplayer, it was a challenge.

hi tim, Thanks for your usefull video. I have just received my game this week and i've a hard time with the rules. Your first action seems to me incorrect : getting one equippement and one food . There is only fur and wood to choose from and the rules do not allow you to take one of each but just 2 wood OR 2 fur. Am i wrong ? Another thing that i find hard to understand is the tokens on the board for solo player, it seem that they are used to take more ressources but i do not understand how it works. Great video. Thank you. It was helpful. I think, though, that you have one thing wrong in how you are moving the AI - Scout Alexander Mackenzie. In the rules it says that your turn consists of one compulsory action AND one optional action of make camp or recruit characters. You seemed to be moving the AI character up a space every time you made camp or recruited a character. Those options are a part of your turn and are called "phases". So you're making the game harder by moving the AI up a space every time you do these things, when you shouldn't. It should only move up when you do a compulsory action.

It was interesting to see one of you do a solo play. At least your pet dog didn't abandon you due to lack of food!

Thanks for your playthrough, it helped me get a grasp on the rules. Not that it matters at this point, but I think you had one too many Indians, there should only have been 6.

this video is always a refresher when I play this solo. He got me too tonight by 4 spaces what a bastard. actually I play solo a lot and find the pressure puzzle enjoyable and usually only win on easy mode. Yeah 3 is the magic number. I am hesitant to also get discoveries too with already owning this. your thoughts?

Thanks for the runthrough, but I think this game looks lousy solo. You strip out all of the fun and thinky stuff by eliminating the additional human player(s). Comboing off of what your opponent has played and knowing what they haven't played is what makes this game great. Such a shame as I really want to get this game, but if it doesn't work solo any better than this, I'll pass. If I get a game group though, it'll be an immediate buy.
