Lexus Reliability! 2nd Year Ownership on My IS350. Toyota Builds Tanks!

I bought a 2007 lexus is250 2 years ago in july of 2022. 109k miles. I've been following along for a while and you've inspired me to set goals as a 2is350 as my dream daily driver. I've learned many things on this first car and I love that we had the same color (even though my clear coat is barely existent), but my upper control arms and lower ball joints (front) and my rear left cv axle is going bad. Just bought all the parts but the cv axle on rockauto, and once that project is done I was planning on wrapping my car also! It's lit seeing your progress, even though I plan on selling my 2is250 baby at the end to get the 350. Love the channel and hope we get to link up and see each other's cars one day :)

Got an 07 maxima 125k miles rn as my first car it's been okay so far just knowing the cvt can go at anytime and gonna cost 4k to replace scares me lol. Definitely saving up for a rc or is after this!

just got my is350 RWD last month, I love it, got the same color and head/tail lights as yours bro. Still a couple of things I gotta fix up on her tho. Gonna do a road trip from CA to Georgia soon. We'll see how that goes lol.

To all my is350 owners, just take care of your cooling system. Previous owner of mine blew a headgasket before i bought it at 190k. Ive got her fixed up and running fine, but there was a time this past year when my thermostat got stuck open cause some plastic broke off the housing. lexus couldve done better and made the thermostat housing metal, but oh well. I also had to bleed the cooling system twice for no aparent reason a couple months before the thermostat failure(i noticed the heat wasnt as hot as it shouldve been). Shes been running str8 tho since.

you right about these Lexus... I have the 250 is AWD and I love my car can't beat it and the car looks beautiful... I'm in the process of modify mines now... but yea this car are so reliable...

had my is350 for a year and only done regular stuff... oil change, shocks all around, one tie rod end/ball joint... 159kish miles on er right now and looking to keep going for a long time to come..

Bro I wish mine was at 135k I drive WAY more than the average person I bought my IS at 101k back in February 2021 and as of today the car has 196,500 and the only thing I’ve done other than oil changes every 5k and spark plugs once in two years, is my fuel pump which went out at 180k but we found it it was the factory fuel pump so not to bad

I've got a 350 daily which has taken a good thrashing too lol, I'll probably get an f soon, I think the 350 is way better value for money though, 80% ish of the car for 30% of the money lol Fully agree if you daily cars they get hammered ffs
