I bought this fridge. The knock knock is a gimmick. I knew it was before I bought it. But love that door option

Good review my observation with all refrigerators is the freezer supercedes the fridge. Refrigerator manufacturers need to understand the need

few comments and questions for you to answer please. What is the water dispenser capacity to dispense cold water? I also bought this fridge and i agree my 450 L fridge now feels had more space, i wonder for what all-purpose can we use the freezer for? sometimes i think getting a samsung with Flex Zone was better for that extra drawer of fruits and vegetable, and now trying to live with this, thanks for the video hope i saw it earlier... also the door in door guard on the inside can be removed i was reading in the manual, in some new or old version i saw videos that there is an option to open it.

The knock-knock to me is not a gimmie. I love that further because sometimes I forget what drinks are available and won't necessary need to open the fridge to check

Just picked this up at the good guys in Australia for $2699 AUD for the smaller variant if anyone is interested. They are dropping in price with newer models coming out.

How much smaller, or what is the usable capacity of the Fridge you bought. The usable capacity of this fridge is 847L overall capacity 910L. Just wondering how they compare capacity wise and if I can maybe get away with saving money and buying smaller size.

I've been saying the same thing about that knock knock feature, it's complete nonsense. If i need to see what's in my fridge, I'll simply open the door like a normal person. Why would I need to randomly see what's in my fridge? As you said, I know what's in my fridge.

Its Electrolux. So Ikea removes the branding on their oven range, but this was one of the top of the line oven from Ikea, but made by Electrolux.

I've just now purchased this fridge, to get it into my house, I too have to pull apart the glass sliding door, then remove an internal door frame as it's only 800mm wide, this will give me about 840mm space. To get the fridge into my kitchen, this also means taking off the fridge doors and all hinge brackets to get it down to 808mm and just through the opening, then put the house timber door frame and glass door back together. I'm hoping the extra fridge space is worth the work lol.

why it is so expensive in Australia?
@CyberCatTechnologies

Things can be expensive here.. plus the pricing is in Aud.
@artsyhyd

Australia and Asia are always more expensive including cars prices
@milkshakemuncher
@milkshakemuncher Год назад
Because companies in Oz rip us off. Cars are a prime example. If you as an ordinary person pay full retail in the US (price a dealer charges for their wholesale invoice cost from the manufacturer, freight to their dealership, cleaning and prep, dealership overheads, profit margin, taxes) then import and transportation charges here to Australia, you'll still save money. The dealerships here only have to pay wholesale prices to the manufacturer (save on all US dealership charges I described above) they also get discount transportation due to volume. So they're saving in some cases 10's of 1,000's of dollars on each car, then massively marking them up, pushing them to at least $20k more than a fair price which would already allow for their overheads and profits etc. Chrysler 300C SRT is a prime example. That car in Aus could sell new for $68,000 and dealers would make money, but they were importing very little so they could control the balance of supply and demand and charge $86,000 to $90,000. It's absolutely wrong and the government should have a regulatory body to review costs for all industries and control such acts. Much like they've stepped in to stop greedy power suppliers from gauging excessive profits from Aussies.
@milkshakemuncher
@milkshakemuncher Год назад
@@CyberCatTechnologies doesn't mean they should be expensive. Companies like to brush it off and just say transportation etc and hope no one asks further questions, it is wrong. When most people hear "transportation all the way to Aus" they think yeah that's plausible, so think no more.
@CyberCatTechnologies
@CyberCatTechnologies Год назад
@@milkshakemuncher Perhaps, the point you raised is most certainly a hot topic of debate. For example, products made in Japan is shipped to both US and AU. I'd venture to argue that the transportation cost to AU is no that bigger a jump that the exact same product is sold for 30% more here. That being said, a bigger item itself can cost more to transport. For example in most warehouses, there is a forklift policy for products above and below 100kg. They are handled differently. So smaller fridges are under the 100 mark while this one is certainly more.
