Thanks a lot for this. Followed your tutorial and I much more prefer the new settings. Better colors and darkness. And guys like he said don't forget to adjust your ps5 console accordingly
I see people say that if you do decide to use DTM ON, you should still calibrate the PS5 HDR in HGiG mode (14 steps on the first and second screen and all the way down on the last screen) and then just change it over to DTM ON. If you try to calibrate with DTM, it will apparently just keep on brightening the screen. Is this correct?
I don’t know if I’m right I might just like the Samsung type tvs but since game optimizer makes the colors and lighting more dim I max out my brightness 100, put brightness enhancer to bright, contrast 100, color depth to 85 and temp balance to cold 16 because I think color depth makes it too red. I also found this secret setting online that if you hover over picture mode and type 111 3 111 on controller it opens menu that you change the top setting to bt2020 which makes the color palette way more vibrant. I think this tv needs more vibrant color settings to make it pop especially on game mode
3 weeks too late but: The settings have to match. Full/full and limited/limited looks the same. If they don't match you crush details or get a wasched out picture. If auto/auto do not look right then set it manually to limited/limited. Full/full works too but when the ps5 kicks in the 120hz mode it will change to limited and if you have the tv on full you get the missmatch again. Tldr: Auto/auto is "right" but do not work always (handshake issue). If so change both to limited sry when my english is not perfect :)
@@xShakyor I did a test, when I leave it limited on the console and on the TV, I don't see a difference, now when I leave it limited on the PS5 and leave it auto on the TV, the color gets better and the shadow gets blacker, why does this happen?
This dude on video does not seem to complain about game mode. Search this on Google (RU-vid) All gamers with LG OLEDS must know this. Peak brightness looked in Game Optimizer mode. Colorcontrol Really makes me wanna stick to my 32inch tv from 2012 but the blur makes me crazy. Let me know if this colorcontrol makes the Television a good gaming TV and I might buy it
