With our DLGX4001W we have the "CL" code showing along with a red backlit "clean filter". Lint is cleaned from the trap and there doesn't appear to be any buttons that say "child lock", to be able to reset. Just the CL code flashing. Holding down the start button doesn't do anything.
The CL error message stands for control lock which is a safety feature that locks the function buttons of the dryer to prevent accidents or a child from controlling the dryer and causing a malfunction. Should this feature be active while the dryer is running, pressing other buttons won't work, and you need to disable the feature in order to continue to use the dryer as normal. In reading through the error codes in the manual, there is no mention of this CL error code for your washer model (DLGX4001) so we'll have to make proper adjustment. Hello deborah, this specific unit model DLE3600V has only Intelligent Electronic Controls with LED Display, but unfortunately it doesn't have internal lights. ^Melvin

Hi there! That doesn't sound right! Let's have a closer look! If your pause button isn't working, let's try performing a hard reset first. To do so, unplug the dryer from the power source for about 1 minute. Reconnect it and press the pause button during a cycle to test it again. Please let us know if this helps!
