Hello to you, We're on it ! Please stay tuned the updates are rolling, LG is rolling out a firmware update to bring 2023 features to select 2020-2022 soundbars. Starting in early May, LG will roll out a firmware update to bring 2023 features such as 4K 120Hz passthrough and 'Wow Orchestra' to 2022 soundbars such as S80QY, S90QY and S95QR. Hey there! We're glad that you asked this question. The LG SJ9 soundbar does not have a dedicated app for control. However, you can use the LG Wi-Fi Speaker app to control and manage the soundbar's settings and features. The LG Wi-Fi Speaker app is available for download on Android and iOS devices. ^Anthony

When connecting the Sound bar cables to your TV, you need to first identify the method of connection. Make sure both your soundbar and your TV have compatible connections. HDMI and digital optical cables are the best options for high-quality sound. They are easiest for an LG sound bar setup as they are single-cable plug-in options and can support high-resolution audio frequencies and technologies such as Dolby and DTS.
