You know who s fault it was he went so over the top Sonja hennie she was 6 years older than him when he was engaged to her for 6 years she really influenced. Him l liked him a lit better when he lived in thus lovely little bungalow I was 12 when I last saw him in t.v. in 1955 I am still a huge fan at 77 years old xxc9
I agree but they put it in the poor man's contract that he had hit to get more and more outrageous and glittery in his clothes each time he appeared because this would make kits if money he was nit greedy he was always giving very very expensive. Presents to everybody then they git him to have that dreadful plastic. Surgery. He did not need he was handsome before he had it made him look years older narrowed his eyes a d the chemicals they gave him made his voice higher and altered his personality I lived him best without all the rings and the glitter. 0
Isn't it a miracle that we can see this stuff that would have been lost to oblivion. One of my best friends was Ray Arnett who produced and directed his show from the 1950's till the end. It's kind of funny about the miniature pianos ...there were a few that were special ....but thousands of well meaning fans sent any and all manner of weird piano-esque stuff they had concocted ...according to Ray, Lee said "What am I going to do with all this shit? It ought to be tossed out but I can't because it came from such a loving place....I'll build a museum and charge admission." That is paraphrased and I've sanitized the language. Something Liberace doesn't mention & I have no idea why, is that he designed the house. I wonder if he had the piano shaped pool put in later? It's still there ...house and pool the only sad thing is that someone had the un-brilliant idea to take out the FABULOUS plate glass windows that were an authentic part of 1950's architecture and replace them with "cottage windows" a decidedly different style and a change that really spoiled the entire effect ...you can easily find pictures of the house in it's various incarnations. Is this Liberace's home with the piano shaped swimming pool? Did he have more than one home with a piano shaped swimming pool? My Grandma & Grandad saw the swimming pool in the 1970s. When I'm feeling bad I can always listen to Liberace, Elvis Presley or Frank Sinatra it makes me feel better less anxious and that all is right with the world. So sad they have all passed away now.
That’s funny you say that because out of nowhere I just started watching Liberace videos this week after the bad news and the chaotic atmosphere in the country just to relax myself and smile. Never watched one of his performances before but I somehow knew he would make me better! Peace to you.

He built that house before they put the highway through right next to it and ruined the whole thing with rude sounds from trucks and cars and motorcycles all day and all night. Sad. Just bad luck!
