Hey guys I am the one who choreographed and led the routine! Blindfolds were a little ambitious and we dented two trombones along the way but overall it was super fun and the school asked for an encore!
Excellent work-those spins and the blindfolds were astounding! I lead the Westborough MA Executioner Corps (it seems like all of our groups go by different names) and I'm looking to do blindfolds for our routine this year. Do you have any advice for preparing for such?
The crowd is pumped up for a reason. That took TONS of disciplined practice and commitment. The reaction you are hearing from the crowd is a manifestation of RESPECT. Your school is blessed to have at least one person who knows how to build a program, and probably more than one.
I love the crazy cheering/screaming like the Beatles just walked on, these guys deserve it! :) Never see anything like this in the UK, we don't have 'band' we have orchestra which is far less fun, what a shame!
For the sheer discipline of it, and because they can. Not everything in life has to have an answer to satisfy everyone, and 99.99% of viewers enjoy watching them, that's "why."
