Thanks for this Neil really helpful, have dabbled in a few apps and miao miao before but generally can be so fiddly and time consuming you give up half the time! Quick note the DVLA do approve the libre (1 and 2) for driving ordinary vehicles under 3.5 tonnes.
@Ot1 hi mate, still need the sensor attached to you basically it pings it from the sensor to your phone and onto the watch I used an app called g-watch wear app. Along with jiggluco and xdrip I really like those apps tbh! It's a hit tricky to get your head around at first BUT it's not hard once know how! Let me know if I can be of any assistance at all happy to help!
Hi Neal, have you tried diabox? I use it and find it very good. I think the interface on the phone is better than juggluco and you have a choice of digital or analogue watch faces.
No, I just found this to be really straight forward, yes the watch face is a bit dull, but its functional. once showing on the watch it's very reliable...
Hey I've just bought a smartwatch (fossil gen6) and set it up with juggluco and Freestyle libre 3. Ist it also possible with diabox and freestlye libre 3?
This is helpful information, but have you tried the same Juggluco solution with Libre 3 and the updated Samsung Galaxy Watch5? Presumably it should work with the Wear OS. I'm also interested to know if this setup works directly between the Libre CGM and the Watch (for example when I leave my phone at home and go jogging or swimming - will I still be able to get my CGM levels when my phone is not near by?)
@@bluetorch002 I followed his same instructions with my GW5 and L3, and it works. However most of the time I only get results on my watch, and the phone doesn't connect with the sensor. Actually I'm able to start the new sensors directly with Juggluco on my phone (no need to start with the L3 app), then it also displays on my watch for the first week. I do have to fiddle (activate sensor via Bluetooth on watch) the first time I leave my phone at home and go for a run with only my watch. I don't know why after about a week only one device can read the results, usually my watch so no data is uploaded to librelink once the phone no longer connects.
You would think since the watch, the sensors and phones would be hell of alot better quicker and easier to install since they are all to do with the same thing. So far ive had to download 4, 5 apps extra to get so far . Now im stuck on finding the ruddy widget thing and still not showing the graph or readings on the watch. I give up
I am under the impression you can install juggluco on your phone and selecting "wear os" in the settings, and also using selecting "floating glucose" in the settings, sends the readings to the watch w/o the need to install anything on the watch. Can anyone confirm this?
Hi there, thanks for your helpful video! Have you had trouble with the glucose reading not reaching your watch when you leave your house? If so, how did you fix that. Thanks 😊
I am trying to set up Libre2 with my Galaxy Watch 4. I have successfully got the latest version of Libre2 software on to my Galaxy A13 phone and now get real-time readings on that. I have tried to use your video instructions to get those real-time readings on to my Galaxy 4, but hit the snag that when I try to download APK and juggluco on to my phone, I get the message "For your security, your phone currently isn't allowed to install unknown apps from this source. You can change this in settings" I can't find anything in settings to allow this. Help!
Thanks. I've now got APK and juggluco on my phone and it is reading my L2, but how do I get the juggluco app into Wear. All the instructions seem to be about loading it on to a pc. Is there a way of inserting it into Wear just using the phone
Sorted. I used Wear Installer, so I only needed my phone and watch. This installs direct on to the watch. I found the Juggluco digital watch face to be a little clunky, but, by wading through the reams of Juggluco stuff, I found his section on how to overlay the floating bg reading over any installed watch face. So I found a nice, discrete analogue and overlaid the floating bg. Wow! Using Juggluco and the watch, my bg values have remained in the 3.9 to 10 range for 20 of the past 31 days. A record for me. Thank you for your video which showed me what was possible.
I use Glimp and Juggluco on a Xiaomi device, and the BG readings for Glimp are a lot lower. Is that normal? I'll try to test the Juggluco app on my Samsung watch, to see if I get better results. Thanks
Hi Neil do you know of a issue where reading is not showing on watch 4 after a new sensor being used it worked OK for the first two weeks now I get no reading showing have tried uninstall / reinstall
Yes, I've had a few sensors not transitioning smoothly... I changed sensors over tonite and it went perfectly. I should do another video specifically for changing sensors.
Hi I scanned and it have me a choice of juggluco or libre so I picked juggluco and it worked for me! Sometimes you have to go to settings on the app and click the sensor and Bluetooth option for it to kick in again but works a treat for me!
I have followed the instructions, but it either shows as scanned, but nothing shows on the app. Or it comes up with shared libraries missing. Any ideas?
@@andytomkins1970 mine worked fine a samsung s10e , so libre app scans fine... but you cant scan with JL... does it beep when near the sensor or nothing at all.
I very much appreciate you making this video. I do have a question. Is the juggluco app region locked to the UK? I am unable to find it in the normal Android Playstore (in US). Edit. I found a website to download the apk, but its not from the official Google Play Store. I wonder if it is safe to sideload?
James. your need to sideload the APK apps from the makers website... google juggluco... then your need both apps on the fone and JL on your watch with direct sensor Bluetooth ticked... your still need Libre app for starting the sensors. and to mail data to your medical team.
As soon as I opened the app on my phone after downloading, it kept crashing the phone screen. I had to restart the phone and only had a few seconds to uninstall the app, otherwise the notification to pair the sensor would pop and keep crashing the screen. I tried opening the app on the watch but the screen went black. What is this issue?? Could it be because my phone is a Xiaomi Mi9?
Your need Libre app to start the sensors. and i also scan a few times a day so data is sent to my diabetic team. JL does my alarms on both fone, watch and a floating BS level on my fones screen. In short i can see my BS level at a glance on my fone or watch face.
I used juggluco for about 2 years but just uninstall libre before I started. It worked fine, love havin reading top left of phone screen all the time. Now my 'health care professionals' ar had a right go at me and said they wont help I have to use libre and now it does live readings since july'23 update.. but it doesn't work as well as juggluco or sync to a phone... So my question to Neil is how when you scan does NFC nor confuse which app to use I I give running both a try. And do you know if the new live readings in libreview affect this setup?
