Hey! I'm a little late. This showed up in my recommended. I just got a neon power supply and tried my first burn on a flat juniper board. The walking stick is a great idea and it turned out awesome! Nice job! Cheers!
YOU'VE BEEN... THUNDER STICK! Lol, seriously though, awesome vid. I don't think I would've been brave enough to use a pull cable power supply for this 😂.
An interesting experiment! Try the branch first well clear of bark and sand. Use a concentrated, saturated solution of baking soda - at the bottom of the vessel should remain undissolved crystals. After applying the electrolyte to the branch, wait a minute or two to better soak the surface. As electrodes You can use not thick screws in your clamps as Your source gives out a small current.
YO!!!!!!!!! DAMN! That is SO cool! Could you imagine seeing what is happening on a microscopic scale!? One hell of a cool look for sure! Does it smell like wood burning, or is it a different smell since electricity is flowing through it? You want to sell me one of these babies, I could use a walking care sometimes!
The first thing you did after your first burn was to grab both leads with you hands. In this there are no mistakes, you get zapped. with some transformers you are dead. Before you teach this learn your safety better. 24 people were killed in 2022 doing this. Yes they come out great and your videos are good, like telling someone about ice fishing without telling them about thin ice. Really like your diamond willow sticks. The one you used looks like a neon sign trans. this will shock like a really hot elect. fence. the new trans for this will not work as they have safeties built in for shorts. Raised in Minn. till 1962
@@newalla344 Yes. Very dangerous. I make sure it is turned off, before I touch any leads. It might be less dangerous using this versus those crazy fools using microwave transformers that are touching wires when they are hot, but I'm not willing to find out. Any time you are dealing with home electrical devices, or house wiring of any kind, it is very dangerous. Only a complete idiot would believe any of this is safe, and unfortunately, that would constitute to just about everyone on the planet.
Dear, what is your security issue, your cable touching the table and your table can be burned and get you. Pay more attention for your security instead of filming please
The cable is insulated, and the table is non conductive wood. I would agree that you nor anyone else should not do any of this. It is very dangerous, and I mentioned the risks.
