Lies of P's director plays through the hot Soulslike's huge Gamescom gameplay demo. This 38-minute video is part 2 of that gameplay. Part 1 is here: • Lies of P - 31 Minutes...
@@frankbasile3662 A lot of Game journalists have like 2 weeks max to play a game and make a review, additionally they often have a large handful of games of differing genres to review within the same deadline period. Put simply a lot of them simply do not have the time to actually git gud because they have an article quota to meet for their job.
@@J-manli Besides that this game plays similar to most souls game, from Bloodborne,Dark souls series,Code Vein, The Surge etc.Any so called journalist should understand the combat flow and controls to some degree as they play these games for a living. The person in this video is either brain damaged or playing blind folded, nothing else is possible with how horrible they are
People need to stop with the "we've got Bloodborne at home" whining. We've got people who have been begging for an experience like it again for years, and when one pops up they write it off and practically root for its failure.
In terms of polish and combat, this game looks better imo. But people need to understand that inspired by doesn't = an attempt to be a clone. Game looks solid and will be enjoyable.
@@falkenfluegel it's not even remotely close to a clone. Different color pallette, weapons, gear, enemies. If you consider being in the same genre if souls like then sure, but that's not called a clone. Also, tell us you've never played Bloodborne without telling us.
Venigni sounds strikingly similar to Roberto Benigni, better known for his role in "Life is beautiful" and less known outside of Italy for his role as Pinocchio in a 2002 film based on the original tale.
Anyone else notice that those big guys with wheels on their backs use the exact same sound effects as the brick trolls from bloodborne? It's probably a royalty free sound effect but it's kind of a nice homage lol
Games like this are perfect for Game Pass. A great entry point for those interested in trying a "souls like" title without having to invest and find out they don't like it. A legit lay-up for Xbox.
Game looks slick, love the creepy steampunk theme. Looks perfect for a $30-40 pickup, or game pass unless they've yet to show us something truly fresh and innovative. Unfortunate that the comments section seems to have summoned some of the most annoying people on the internet.
Perfect 60 dollar TripleA game for PS5,.plenty of deep rewarding combat, enemy and level variety, 40 plus confirmed Boss type enemies, all with a unique twist on Pinocchio lore,..easily worth regular price,no reason to rent it on gamepass rental service when you can own this future masterpiece
These zoomers experiencing for the first time the birth of a new subgenre. Equal to the people screaming "mario clone" to 2d plataformers. Souls-like is just like that, like battle royale. Wasnt invented by From Sofware but it perfected lot of variables. Step by step this sub-genre will develop on his own.
Im actually happy souls like became its own genre, too many people keep crying about dark souls clone. You could call any modern game in existence a clone of what came before it.
Love how this looks and super hype for it. Hope they just made the demo easy on purpose because if enemies actually do that minuscule damage I’ll be upset.
audio of the game feels sub par. things that should sound differently sound the same, almost no ambient sounds and all enemies sound the same. feels like no sound director is working on the game
THIS LOOKS AMAZING! VERY souls like, but the creepiness seems turned up. 8:03 to 8:22 is 😱 Love the atmosphere and sound effects, and heavy attacks seem MEATY. smaller devs are catching up for sure
