*In response to Charlie stating he doubts we will ever get a BloodBorne sequel or remake:* Sony acquired Bluepoint (the developer behind the Demon's Souls remake), so we may end up getting a BloodBorne remake after all, it just wont be from FromSoftware. But, after seeing the quality of the Demon's Souls remake I dont think anyone would be disappointed with that lol. 2025 is BloodBorne's 10 yr anniversary, and Sony acquired Bluepoint back in 2021, which would give them 4 years to get a BB remake ready. Sony knows a BloodBorne remake is easy money, and the Demon's Souls remake is clearly what prompted Sony to acquire Bluepoint in the first place. The most obvious first reason why would be...Sony wants more remakes lol 🙏
What do you play on? I’m on ps4 and am experiencing 0 problems with the game as well, but Ik a lot of people are complaining about the dodge and parry and I’m very aware that pc is far more popular than ps now
@@couchpotato5657 I’m on Xbox one, pretty sure the dodge is fixed now and it was just a problem for the beta. Been enjoying the game so far, how about yourself?
@@couchpotato5657yeah oath, this is my first real experience with anything souls like and it’s been a blast so far! I did try out Wo long fallen dynasty but it was pretty mid so I stopped but lies of p is already 100x better! 👌🏼
"You can find Murphy's whistle later? Ahh I actually do remember that." Lol that quest wasn't even in the demo. Charlie can see the future confirmed! Edit: King's flame, Fuck boy had me tilted as hell. Lost count after 20 attempts. But on day 2 I finally beat Fucko. I expected the rest of the game to be actual hell, but I was wrong. The boss most people hate for his difficulty, Archbishop Asshat, I actually beat on my second try somehow. From then on pretty much all bosses took me less than 5 tries. Lasaxia? 1 try, which is insane to me. The only boss to give me hell like Fucko was the stupid swamp monster, which took 12. I am at Simon Man-ass right now, so we'll see how I do with him. Im sad tho cuz this is post-patch....
@beans4911 ya I had to eventually. I am a noob but even then I still try my hardest to not use summons in these games, I want my wins to come purely from my skill alone. But that Fucko had me raging so bad, I had no choice but to use the spectre to save my mental.
@ThePainter08 that was a weird one for me. That stupid giant-ass furst phase puppet shit beat my ass silly, but once Romeo popped out it was on, n he went down pretty quick. I like the fast humanoid fights, but the big ol fuck-giant robots n monsters wreck me.
@@pootzmagootz "Charlie said it = not dumb" is pretty much what you're saying. Spirit summons are an intentional game mechanic that most souls fans decided to avoid, the same applies here with the summons.
@@MobyDrip not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying that's Charlie's reasoning for using the summons here. I was under the impression the person replying to me was saying that's a dumb reason so it can't possibly be why Charlie did it That misconception aside, summons are essentially a built in "easy" mode because they can take the agro of the boss off of you and you learn the boss less. That's why hardcore souls fans don't use them, such as Charlie. If you find it dumb, that's you're opinion, respectfully
imo nioh just has too much artificial difficulty in it. i beat the 1st dlc mission and at that point was just over it because i was dying in like 2-3 hits by every single enemy and thats just annoying difficulty when they throw so many bulky enemies at u. imo lies of p is on the level as ds3 if not ds1 at least, comparing it to fromsoft. for me it's bloodborne>elden ring>demon souls/dark souls 1>dark souls 3>dark souls 2. i'd say lies of p would probably either be just above ds3 if not tied with ds1/demon souls due to the atmosphere and setting. as for nioh, i'd personally throw it anywhere from just above ds2, tied with ds2, or just below ds2.
Yes because this is completely different, different mechanics and gameplay. Whereas every Bethesda games feel exactly the same no matter how different the story/setting. Killing different bosses with extremely different move sets is fun. Walking around doing fetch quests and killing copy and paste enemies is not fun
@@taylor0000027ever used your dormant brain to think that maybe some people watch on mobile? + most adblockers are banned now. But hey lets just ignore the fact that youtube is fcking unwatchable and charlie gives 0 sht about making his channel atleast watchable
Theme seems cool, lack of ost makes the game feel kinda lackluster though, im sure this game isnt more repetitive than any other souls-like but the absence of music sure makes watching it a snooze fest
I'm just kinda upset at all these cool games coming out...one reason...and I don't wanna hear the "hue hue you a furry" but playing something that isn't a god damn human would be nice...I give 0 shits if you could "CuStOmIzE it or not...long as it's an option
@@TJones4L Sure lore wise you can be "a puppet" an "elf" a "dwarf" but if it looks mistakable for humans...I consider it human. For example elden rings "draconic" race is just some human who climbed down the chimney to me.
Okay.. but you are a furry, or at the very least have interest in anthropomorphic characters, so why not play games with that target audience? Unless you mean *specifically* furry themed souls-likes
@@jkob8955 new game plus, for nine souls players... there’s more after you finish the final boss. I haven’t beaten lies of p yet but I hear the p organ, I.E the skill tree doesn’t open up fully till ng plus 2 or 3...
clearly you haven't playing it, the story for once is much more clearer than Bloodborne, the MH whetstone mechanic does not exist in Bloodborne. You just want to hate for the sake of it
@@Lee-vj2mi Youre right tho, its not like you couldnt make a soulslike without ripping off 90% of Fromsoft games. Even the animations for everything but combat are exactly the same.
