Btw guys, Frenchie used to be a hitman for Nina, which got explored back in Season 3. He killed a lot of families. Men, women, children, everything. He also brought up the first woman he killed to Hughie in his first appearance back in Episode 2 of Season 1.

I didn't see if someone already told this, but watching the season four along with Gen V is a big mistake. Many informations about Gen V (last episodes) are already in this season 4, so if you want to avoid spoilers you should finish Gen V first.

The reason why the Ryan situation was live is because thats how all of the Seven's "saves" are done - scripted and televised. Remember in Season 1 Starlights first save as a member of the Seven was with the Deep. They took down the bad guys and all of a sudden a camera crew was ready to catch all of the action. Its all scripted. Their interviews, their television appearances, the people they save, all of it. In A-Train's case, his brother says he never actually saved a single person. But that isnt true for every Supe, as in the first episode we see Maeve and Homelander stop some criminals (who they did end up killing) in front of real civilians. Then they did it again later on by stopping another guy then making it look like he shot Maeve when really he just kind of surrendered lol And we see that Homelander and Maeve tried to stop that plane from being hijacked but we all know how that turned out.

To be fair it makes sense. Real life saves are dangerous and hard for everyone. If something goes wrong they get the whole avengers accords thing. Makes sense that most know they’re just there for money acting up top. Batman is lucky no one really gets badly done in civilian wise out of his direct involvement too often.

The show is better for honestly. The comic is poorly written and relies strictly on its shock value to get by. None of the characters are likeable, all of them are vile and despicable in some way. I genuinely don’t know how they turned that garbage into this great show.

Said person wants to make books and push against bad writing. We’ll see. Hard today to take opinions seriously when everything called bad writing equates to well I didn’t like it cause they don’t do what I want all the time vs the narrative quality

Sad that some of the politics actually just are true. Like how South Park thought the real world is so crazy now they have trouble parodying it. Not every show is for everyone so I say those people should just quit if it’s too violent for them.
