Ironically, some of the best teaching can be done through watching people's bad examples and then deciding "I'm not going to be that."

The most depressing part of all of this is that she’s making $6500 a month being a spiritual coach. That’s double my salary 😭😭😭

I had horrible money management skills--bad credit, school debt, uncaring attitude to credit. Mid thirties, I couldn't do anything. I got an overnight job at a warehouse, stopped spending anything I didn't have to, stopped eating out, stopped buying anything I didn't absolutely need. It took nearly three years of 60+ hour weeks to pay everything off and now my life feels so much more free. I feel like I can do anything now. I'm planning a trip to Europe, so I can't recommend money discipline enough.

Anyone who tells me they’re a “life” or “spiritual” coach is a plague I avoid at all costs.

Honestly, a simple formula for staying a head in life financially, is to: 1) sit down 2) write out all of your monthly expenses 3) add them all up 4) take that number 5) and do better than that number

Caleb’s ability to cut through the BS and be brutally honest is a rarity. It’s great to see his channel deservingly grow .

A mindset of abundance doesn't cause credit card debt. In fact, it does the opposite, because a true mindset of abundance means you can be satisfied with whatever you have right now.

One of the biggest habits I've picked up is asking myself "do I actually NEED this. I know I want it and might could use it but do I NEED it right now. Or is it going to sit there waiting on the possibility I might do something, while I feel bad for doing nothing with it". Then I end up walking away, I may spend 20 minutes wandering around the store thinking about it but 98% of the time I don't waste the money. If it's online, it'll spend a week or more sitting in the shopping cart and then I end up deleting it. If you can go an extended period without it, you didn't need to waste the money on it when you wanted to buy it. It's reached the point where sometimes, I feel bad for even considering buying something I KNOW I don't need.

This lady isn’t a life coach guru, she’s an irresponsible 27 year old young lady who doesn’t know what she’s doing. But at least she’s taking steps to get better and take some accountability here by going on Caleb’s show. It’s a start. But I would take none of her advice about anything.

'Spiritual coach' is a term used by people who haven't really developed enough skills to provide society anything tangibly meaningful.

I love this video. Her behavior made me look at my behaviors. I like how the guy was so frank. I tried to listen to his advice as if he was directly talking to me. It's not easy accepting accountability, but it's essential. We have to acknowledge our wrongs before we correct them. I'm bad with money because I grew up poor and couldn't have what I needed sometimes, much less what I wanted. When I got my own money, I didn't save and overspent. Now 3 of my four credit cards are paid off, and I'm paying off the last one from using it for a surgery I needed. I'm saving money now. My credit score is in the mid 600s and rising. I'm finally paying on my student loans. It took tears and a lot of talking eith my therapist but I managed to stop digging a hole and start filling it. I can provide my kids with not only their needs, but also their wants, within reason. You can absolutely build your financial freedom back up from nothing if you put in the work and not let setbacks make you give up.

My biggest financial game changer is having a fully funded 6-month emergency fund. Suddenly you get an unexpected 700 car maintenance expense, no biggie, that's what the fund is for. You sleep better at night and have a better relationship at work because this is a certain energy of if I dislike working here I can always quit on the spot and get another job and I'll be alright for half a year. Ironically I have a relationship at work since.

Everything yall said at the end is facts. I just figured this out 2 years ago at 37. Lived and spent above my means and kind of skated by but it all eventually caught up to me. Started disciplining myself, paid off my maxed out credit card, started eating better, etc. and now happier. Only wish I would've disciplined myself in my 20s instead of approaching 40. Anyone reading this in your 20s, please get your shit together now. IT WILL catch up to you eventually.

I'm friends with a woman who is a life coach. Legitimately. She has a PhD in psychology and family therapy. She had a private family therapy practice for many years before branching out. She partners with other experts who can support her clients in areas that she lacks expertise. She is legit. But, she's literally the only life coach I've ever seen that is actually not a bullshit artist.

By the time I was 27 I had been married for 7 years, had 3 kids, served in the military, and started my own successful business. Still if you took life advice from me I would question your sanity.

I came from a family background where our main meal was toast and 25p ramen and I'd go to school with ill-fitting clothes and shoes that fell apart. I went to uni and got a job that paid double my dad's wages (after five years of promotion) and I completely got the sudden desire to 'splurge'. Food was my main thing, I wanted to try EVERYTHING, and had a fear of being hungry so would hoard food I didn't need or couldn't possibly eat. It was never to the point I've EVER been in more than 100 in the red but I did massively calm down and 'settle' into my higher wages. I can sympathise but you have to hold yourself accountable.

Eating healthy is spiritual. The most healthy and cost efficient way to eat is prepping and cooking in kitchen. Shop fresh, grow veggies in containers, set a grocery budget, don't waste. Spiritual people also know how to be grateful and humble. It's important to identify what is true spirituality and what is your ego. Anyone who looks at spirituality as a "money grab" needs to reflect on their true intentions for life.

Financial literacy is a real thing. I struggled with it to the point i had to file for bankruptcy... At 30! Truly a humbling experience. Finanical stress almost killed me, literally. In and out of doctors offices due to stress related issues. Once I stopped blaming everyone else and took a look at myself, it was easy to make the decision to change. Now the actual implementation of said changes is a struggle. I still have my slip ups but im living below my means and it helps i have a fiance who is good with money.

Financial Audit is one of my favorite channels! He thought me a lot and so did all the guests! Nice to see him featured on here he's the man!

Interest is a killer, and that's something Caleb often emphasizes and why having high credit card debt is horrible. One piece of advice I could offer if you have a lot of credit card debt is committing yourself to never using your credit card again (cut it up, throw it away), get a consolidation loan for significantly less APR rates, and pay it off. Depending on how much debt you have it may take years, but once you do pay it off, you'll feel so free.

A high school teacher of mine once told us, "credit cards are good slaves but bad masters."

His videos really help put things in perspective as far as how a lot of people are doing financially. Makes me feel a bit better knowing I don't have the same "abundance mindset" like her, and I dont put myself in crippling debt.

I've been an ON & OFF meal prepper ever since i lived on my own (22y/o male), and honestly that "you can sleep at night" hits SO HARD, when contrasting having several days of food secured and having to spend money daily to sustain yourself.

I totally respect this financial advisor on keeping it real and raw to this woman on her BS! This is the type of person I need in my inner circle to keep it real with me. We keep it real with each other to better ourselves. They hate the honesty but dam we need it to become a better version of ourselves.

Calebs financial audit content is awesome. Its entertaining and you can learn a bit about being accountable for your own choices when it comes to spending.

I have to commend her for honesty and take all that she need to hear on the chin. Most people in her shoes will get emotionally defensive and walk off.

I love Caleb’s videos! His financial roasting of others has taught me to turn my financial situation around. I’ve learned to say, “no f… you” to myself when I want to spend outside my means. I 💯 recommend his videos.

Caleb has been doing these vids for a year or 2 now and you can see the him lose more patience as he goes. This was one of his first vids and he is way more calm in comparison. The guy really cares about people and hearing the idiotic finaical choices they make is honestly frustrating

Caleb is brilliant. I've learned so much from his channel about sticking to a budget, wants vs needs when it comes to spending and paying down debts before discretionary spending. It feels so much better to see savings in the bank instead of buying stuff i probably won't use.

Caleb Hammer is great! I also watched Life or Debt, which is now on Amazon Prime. I’m old school and keep my budget on an Excel spreadsheet. It helps me keep track of what comes in versus what goes out.

I discovered his channel a few weeks ago & watch it all the time now. It’s so refreshing to see the tough love approach & calling people on their BS.
