I'm sorry for the swift re-upload. I realized I had published the wrong version! Especially sorry to the first commenters. I've bee holding onto this song for a long time, trying to get that anvil/monkey sound backbeat sounding right. Stick around for a nice outro at the end too. Man, these DKC songs are so timeless.. As much as I'd like to arrange something from another game, I keep coming back to David Wise's magical tunes.
You often hear DKC music admirably recreated or reimagined and it's a welcome treat. Rarely, however, is the original track actually elevated to something exceptional. Life in the Mines has never exactly been on my top ten tracks from the series, but this rendition is powerful and arresting, truly. Very much in the spirit of Wise's work with a whole lot of something more interwoven. Forgive me for gushing, I am officially a big fan.
You are kidding right? I love you man. You are always remixing my favourite songs. This is so amazing. I can‘t describe how I am feeling right now. Somehow relaxed but also thoughtful, you know. Thank you so much, this is so good.
Aw, no! I new I should have checked my subscribed videos sooner. I would have had this on repeat all day dangit. Another beautiful masterpiece, I absolutely ADORE what you make. This is a unique spin on this particular track that makes it stand out from the rest of the remixes in my opinion. Love how it came out; seeming like a magical experience deep within the caves and mine shafts, showing wonder and awe with light inside the darkest places ♥
That's the most amazing part about this environment in the game. The music feels like a lost memory or something, mixed with the scenery of little lights in long cavernous tunnels. Such a sense of wonderment. Glad you like it :)
Yes! The atmospheric tracks for this game were somehow able to still utilize incredible melodies and themes to where they don't really seem atmospheric anymore. The cave and underwater songs are some of the most moody and beautiful in the game.
absolutely sublime man. this song wasnt high on my list for nintendo tracks compared to some of the others. but what uv done too this. man its got to be top 5 now. wow. it captures the nostalgic feeling for me insanely well. thank you good sir.
@@andrewrecreatormusic3536 For the trilogy, Cave Dweller Concert. I know it's more of an ambience based song, but it is beautiful to me. Shame there are hardly any good remixes of it. Otherwise Wing Ding from Tropical Freeze.
@@Jtmingus1 Oh this was one I wanted to mess with too. I love the minimalism of it. Also, if you like Cave Dweller Concert, you should check out the Myst soundtrack.
Wow. Great work. I love DKC soundtrack (and the games too) these games reminds me the good old days. I wish I could go back when I was a child and play for the first time. Thank you for that. From Switzerland :-)
I was looking for lofi remixes of DKC music wondering if there was a cover of Life in the Mines. I Found this instead and I'm very blown away, I love how this has an emotional epic adventure feel to it. 1:40 to 2:08 and 3:04 to 3:50 are my favorites.
Omigosh, just when I thought the day couldn't get any better, you (reupload I guess? 😂) another rearrangement! I love all your work dude, constantly putting your songs (rearrangements and originals) on just about as often as I can! Thank you so much for continuing to make these stunning pieces!
Wow that's amazing to hear. That's the only reason I make anything, cuz a few people here and there seem to really like it. I appreciate this and promise to keep it up :)
The metallic sounds are a too echoey but once the song gets going you don’t hear it too much. Otherwise this is soooo good. Thank you for your hard work!! I love your videos
I remember chilling to this when I was younger. Now it is just a fine composition for me, nothing more. It's great, hands down, it's just me who got dried up by a long day of speaking
@@andrewrecreatormusic3536 hi. I agree. But I can't say that day was bad. I was having a good time chatting with different friends. Wish you a great time too 😉
Please continue to complete this soundtrack! DK, especially DK2 will always be a legendary series and soundtrack. I feel like Lockjaw will promise. Also off topic, Dire Dire Docks would add to the nostalgic to many of us! 🙏
They're all just so good... I'm definitely in a DKC vortex, although I think the next one should probably be something from another game, just to mix it up a bit
