Well, they did well for their first successful game with a very much limited budget.

But yeah a better graphics of life is strange would be good. It had a lot of emotional moments that were ruined because of it.

I actually freaked out a bit when it started playing at the end of episode 2, because I recognized the opening guitar part vaguely as like, "... is this my song?" and it took me longer to realize what song it was, haha.

I thought it was pretty good. I definitely had fun playing it, and loved being back in Arcadia Bay with Chloe. I'll keep an open mind about the story until I've played all 3 episodes. Not much has happened so far. My favorite moment of this episode (*spoiler*) was when Rachel set that tree on fire and seemed to have supernatural powers. I hope they do more with that! The D&D scene was also super fun, and as I went back to capture scenes for this video I noticed how beautiful the cinematography often is. But yeah, I'm looking forward to playing the remaining episodes!

Cool. I've been avoiding to read opinions on it because I'm afraid there might be a lot of negativity. I personally liked the first episode, but I could also see why people might take issue with it. (I think it's much easier to like it if you consider it to be a summary of events that took place over a month's time rather than a day, especially with how many letters to Max there are.) Anyway, I'm glad that you're having a positive experience. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the other episodes :)

Yea, I was pretty skeptical leading to release -- but there seems to be a nice balance between critical and optimistic. Most of what I disliked about episode 1 had nothing to do with the premise/concept rather than the actual work the dev team did. I think they've got a lot of potential. But this story still feels kind of pointless so far, so I'm hoping they have a plan to turn this into something that feels more...connected? Important? Guess we'll see! But despite being a whole other studio, they definitely have the skills needed to make this kind of game.
