Literally my stepson. "Okay, I'm going to stand right next to you, looking at you. Now don't step off this ledge that keeps you in 12 inches of water instead of 4 feet." *steps off* *immediately grabs 4 year old and pulls him above water while freaking out* Then like 5 minutes later his dad was at the derp end and I couldn't get him over there so he slices a cut in my face near my eyebrow woth a toy car cause he was mad. Now mind you, I'm 5 feet tall, so if I were too much further towards the deep end, I wouldn't be able to keep my head above water without swimming, and his dad...is over 6 feet tall. I'm tiny and I'm not particularly strong, I know my limits, and carrying a child who weighs Literally 15 pounds away from half my weight (even in a pool) to the 6 foot area when I'm not a strong above water swimmer (I swim like a dolphin, mostly under water and arching quickly above water or making my way to a wall I can hold on to to breath) is WAY beyond those limits...but still, hitting me with a hot wheels and making me bleed was out of proportion with me not wanting us both to drown....great memories.
