UPDATE ON HOW I AM DOING NOW - • How I Got Over My DIVO...
Hey Guys! Sorry, that I have been MIA with responding back to comments here on RU-vid, I have just been dealing with a lot of emotions lately and because of that I wanted to update you on how I have been doing and feeling. I hope that if you are going through a divorce or a loss of some sort that this video is helpful to you. Know that you are not alone in what you are facing and that it is ok to have emotions, intense emotions, and that it is normal to have all these feelings when going through a loss or divorce. I hope that this gives you some insight on what I have faced and what I do to deal with it and get past these emotions. I am by no means an expert and I am still dealing with this stuff on a daily basis, it is a process and somedays are better than other days. Hey, Sweetie. I'm a 60-year old woman, and I want to assure you that you can and will get through this. And not only this, but everything else life dishes out. When you're in the middle of pain, it's hard to see ahead, but take heart, because one day (and it will be sooner than you think), you'll be beyond this. Time really does heal. You are young and strong, and you still have your whole life ahead of you, all those chapters still waiting to be written. Good luck, and God bless you.

The 5 stages of death is the same for divorce. In time it will get better and you will become a stronger person from all of this. I too went through a divorce. Oh the denial, sadness, hurt, anger and numbness................very draining. There will be a day that you don't even think about it. When that day comes you see the light at the end of the tunnel! Keep your faith and for those days you cannot walk, God will carry you! I wish you peace!

How long did it take you?.... I was married for 10 years, and my wife (and mother of my two girls) left me for one of our friends. That was 3 almost 4 years ago. Now I'm better than i was three years ago, but still find I'm stuck in my moving on.... I still see her in my dreams and lose my shit, and wind up waking up in a super bad mood. I also don't like how its changed my view of females. I try and tell myself, "In another year you will get over it." But here i am almost four years latter, and its still eating me up.

Cheers for the Video! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Taparton Returning Love Takeover (search on google)? It is a smashing one of a kind product for learning how to stop divorce minus the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate after many years got great success with it.

All of those feelings you are having are completely normal. I went through a divorce with my first husband after being married for 11 yrs. the struggle is real. My kids were small then and i had nowhere to live because i was a stay at home Mom. Even though i am a stylist, it wasn't enough to do everything i knew they needed. I had the depression, anger etc... All those feeling you are experiencing and then some and still had to function everyday, as if nothing was wrong, to try and protect my kids from it. I understand how you feel. But, i will tell you this, that was in my 20's, I'm now 41 and remarried, my kids are fine and my ex and I are civil to each other.. Life goes on and you will one day, no longer cry or be angry. You will find love again too.. ❤️😊

This has helped. Even though I'm a guy, I'm going through a lot of the same emotions. My wife left me 4 months ago. Our divorce isn't official yet, but I've been having a terrible time. I feel like I won't find another woman to share my life with. This video has helped me quite a bit. Thank you.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. My emotions were mostly quite down and I had very delayed anger. But the anger was very helpful because it is fuel to light a fire under us and move us forward :-) I hope you find some peace in this process.

@katizig hello there. I went through depression which is normal. Had my highs and lows. When I found out he cheated it made me feel better but angry (I no longer thought it was something that I did wrong). I don't fully suggest this next part, but I did it. I moved on months later. partied hard lol. While I wasn't looking for a relationship many men tried to be in a relationship with me. In the end I chose my best friend 2 years later. He tried to marry me, but I wasn't ready at the time. It was too fast. Right now, 7 years later I'm ready to be a wife lol. Hopefully this helps. My ex has received his karma. I still wish him the best though. He tried to do a lot of malicious things to me during the process. I'm just glad I survived it. Time is everything, it's real ... When you have to cry, cry; when you have to laugh, laugh!; when you have to be anger, really do it! There's something that helped me through a seriously bad breakup relationship, and it's "everything is temporary, nothing is forever" ... So, every bad thing will pass, is up to you to make it sooner. Learn and practice karate or self defense, try to do something new; find a new passion; focus on You Tube; don't care about traveling alone and have time with yourself; find that courage to leave behind those chains that you have; love yourself more and don't give up! And don't ever think that it's your fault and you didn't deserve him (or something negative like that) ... Keep doing all these beauty videos, I love them all, you are so talented!! Kisses and hugs!

Julie, I'm new to your channel and I was watching thru your videos and found this one. 10 years ago, I was you, except I had a 4 and 6 year old in towe. I'm the youngest and only girl of 4 children and a daughter of a family where the mom and dad and my brothers are not and don't believe in divorce, but never was judged by them. I too moved back in with my parents. Then 2 years into my divorce, I met back up with a teenage friend, he hadn't been a boy friend, but just a friend and he swept me off my feet. He took my kids in and we had a little girl, it was what God wanted and knew I deserved. He is the best husband and father ever, he will send you someone, I truly believe that. Many prayers to you.

I have been divorced for 12 years. I know how hard it is to have someone that you love just leave. It hurts and the pain is great. I can tell you that you will survive and that you will be happy again. You will grow and be a better and stronger person after you are able to put this all behind you. I can tell that you are a strong person and that you are doing every thing right. Take care and remember that with every passing day that you heal just a little bit more. Hi Julie, Bless you heart, and please know that confidence in yourself will grow. The routine the majority of us fall into when we are married does change, and we have to be open to change. So often we take the concept of being "one" to a level of almost losing ourselves when we are married, but we do that because we love our spouse and want that closeness. It would be beneficial if we all could try to remain conscious of being an individual when we are married. You are moving forward, and I know you will become so very strong. Whatever class you want to take to feel secure, please do it because you owe that confidence and knowledge to yourself! I'm praying for you. Hugs & Blessings xoxo

I am so sorry that you are going through that all over again. I know divorce and breakups are so hard but you will get through it and things will get better. It is better to find out now then to have to go through a divorce after you have a ton of stuff together. I know it sucks but you will get through it. Make a list of the things that you want in a husband/boyfriend and look for those qualities. Reflect on things and try to learn from it, let it go and have faith that God will bring you who you need, don't lose faith, have hope. I know it is hard right now but it will get better. Take time for yourself don't feel like you always need a man in your life to be happy, do things that bring you happiness, do you and get confident in your own skin. Use this time to heal. Julie Dawn Olsen thank you so much! Unfortunately we are pretty much married without the paperwork so it's been hard to split accounts, decide who's taking what, and splitting up our animals. I love him more than I did my exhusband. My heart is on the floor. I know I will be ok..... I just hope this pain leaves soon rather than a year from now.

Dear Julie, I know this is a long time after the event but my sincere heart felt sorry. I am going through a Divorce at present and I have been devistated and in tears. Just makes no sense to me. I am madly in love with her and she will not talk about it, she refuses to give me a reason. I am broken and don't think that I will trust again. We are not like computers. We can't delete the bad memories and feelings. We have to make new memories to cover the bad ones. You will always remember that you loved her. It's just a memory now. The person you loved before is just is not that person anymore. It is hard to accept . Put your energy on creating the champion that you are. You are a prize that is worth fighting for. In this train of your life, let the caboose go and grab the engine that will take you to the next chapter of your life.

It sounds like you are doing all of the right things in your situation. Surrounding your self with positive family, friends, and professionals and looking to your Faith for comfort. I have never been through a divorce, but have dealt a lot with fear, depression and anxiety. Keep pushing through it and take "baby-steps". One day at a time and set small goals. I've only been a subscriber for a short time, but I always get excited when you post new videos and I can't wait to watch them and spend a few minutes with you. You are such a sweet, genuine person and I am sorry that you are going through such a rough time. I am 55 and there are a lot downsides to getting older, but one of the benefits is realizing that these difficult times in our lives do pass, and you will feel happiness again and you will go on. After 22 years my husband is leaving me. It's so very hard, I still love him .. I have only ever loved him ,I move in a month and the divorce papers will be here in a few days . Thank you so much for sharing your experience with so much vulnerability. I am going through a separation, and I can totally relate to everything you said. It really helps even to just hear you say you don't have the answers to some of these struggles, as I so often put so much pressure on myself to have everything "figured out" and to heal and move on. I definitely feel there is a stigma that comes with divorce, so it is incredibly helpful to hear that I am not alone and there's someone else who can relate to what I'm going through. I'm not sure if this is your type of thing ... But I play roller derby I actually joined after my divorce from my first husband and it was probably the best thing I did, it built my confidence in being independent and it's such a great support system as well, and there's always something going on from bouts and traveling with it and you meet a lot of cool people! If you are into roller derby you can always find a local team, most players had no previous skating skills and they can teach anyone! I went from not being able to skate to being a captain of my team! It's also a great way to get anger out! Xoxoxoxo it will get better in time that's all I can say, I was a wreck after my divorce but now 5 years later I'm married to my soul mate

It's almost like the stages of death. You go through all those stages during a divorce also. I know that sounds crazy but it's true. I hate that you are going through this but you are a beautiful woman and you seem sweet and down to earth and trust me there will be someone out there that God has planned for you and everything happens for a reason. He wasn't the one you were supposed to be with for the rest of your life. You will find the right one and you will be so thankful that this happened...You aren't alone!

Thank you for being brave enough to post this video. I am not going through a divorce, but I have had the most difficult time getting over a break-up with the guy I thought I would be with forever. We never had a legal document or a wedding ceremony but I imagine that the pain is similar. Anyways, everything you said was so on point with the way I feel! In regards to self defense I highly recommend jiu jitsu. It is empowering. Don't worry about being physically fit or flexible it will come with time. I'm 5 5 and weigh 235 lb and I'm taking it currently I've taken it for a little bit now and I love it. You walk around a little more comfortable each day with knowing that you could defend yourself if needed. I'm currently trying to lose weight while doing it as well as I am heading towards the road of divorce and it's a great release and it keeps me busy.

Because of COVID divorce has been so long, plus my ex and his lawyer have been dragging it out even longer with taking a really long time to submit paperwork. But court is tomorrow and I haven't been getting sleep. I'm super tired. This past 3 years has been torturous, going to food pantries cause I became disabled right before this started and he was so abandoning as I needed him the most. But he's always been super difficult. I want to feel brave. 22 years married and he's being so mean to me which hurts. He's just trying to show off to his latest fling. But it hurts

I'm so very proud of you Julie! You are an amazing and beautiful person and don't you lose sight of that. God is so good to all of us and we are all so very blessed each and every day to have Him in our hearts. Keep up the positive attitude and do what's best for YOU. Everything's going to be ok. You're young and pretty enough to bounce right back into the social world and start having fun again with your friends and someone that will make you feel so special. Girl, once you're back out there somebody's gonna snatch you up so fast...Yeah!!!! : ) Just take this time to heal.

I have not yet filed for divorce or even consulted with someone since this happened when he left in May I've been in shock I've been so depressed deeply deeply depressed and it's not a kind of depression do I want to kill myself no never he's not worth it but it's a kind of depression that comes with grieving over someone a loved one who has died and to me it's almost like if he died and I want to bring him back to life and I can't Like You flatlined on me that's good way that I can describe the feeling of being scared and feeling lonely

I'm sorry. I remember how hard it was when my parents divorced. It really sucked at first but after awhile I started to realize that they were both way happier apart. Plus having 2 Christmas and birthday celebrations was nice.

My fiancee of 7 years left me a month ago and we have 2 amazing boy's. She lives with her mother and has cut me off completely from my children. All of our belongings are at her mother's property and I have only been able to get some select items. This is the 3rd time she has walked out on me due to accusing me of cheating on her?! The relationship has been toxic for years due to trust issues on both of our parts. I'm so confused at this whole ordeal, it's hard when she is being childish about our kids. If she didn't want to stay with me and call it off why make it complicated for me? I'm now having to seek legal aid in regards to my boy's. I've never felt so helpless in my life. It sucks but she won't even allow me a phone call to them anymore. Doesn't even have the decency to reply. I live in Australia, so if anyone have experienced something similar please help me out and give me some information. Thanks for you're time.

thank you for posting this video right now I'm going through a lot of stuff I started having issues in January with my husband being distant changing almost like a midlife crisis thing Easter Sunday in the afternoon he left when he came back at 1 a.m. I searched his car and found a woman's wallet underneath the passenger side to my surprise and shock this wallet belong to his good friend's wife all this time they were playing me when I started having issues I opened up to her cry to her she would say everything's going to be fine maybe my husband introduce your husband as someone since this lady separated from her last year in October and now look my husband no longer lives with me he abandoned me and my son at the same time he's paying the mortgage and every single thing but I have no husband here because he's with her now

You are a sweetheart I wish you the best!. I m sorry about what you are going through... My two cents: during the divorce process keep it honest, honorable and don't try to revenge... I hear from so many women that go to divorce how they used to ruin financialy and emotionally their ex during divorce as a vengeance. i've been in your shoes ... i felt like i couldn't go out by myself. i felt as if the world knew my husband just left me. take baby steps, maybe an afternoon movie one day. then maybe go to a museum. slowly you'll see that you're okay and you may even find that you love being by yourself. certainly be careful, but don't miss out on life because you're divorced. i also purchased a self-defense key ring from amazon. it looks like a cat, so people just think it's a plain ol' key ring. search for: wild cat defense keychain. you're a gorgeous girl inside and out ... you're going to be fine!!

im so sorry that you are going through this, i wish i could share my story with you, im still not divorced yet but basically my husband who i was with for 8 years and married for 2 years(still married but separated) cheated on me with his co-worker whom i met and hung out with and of course he denied but its a long story but i feel stronger then ever and i moved and he is apparently filing online but im not sure if thats true, but this is so hard, im 26 and he was my first for everything we met when i was 17 turning 18 but anyways i was searching for video like this and came across yours and im so thankful that you made this video.
