Out of all the crazy stories that I have while working private patrol for 6 years, the most craziest story I have was when I was working in South LA at this business plaza, and I seen a guy walking up to the plaza with a black AR-15 rifle. I was in full uniform and I had my gun on me and my marked patrol unit was inside the plaza too. I wasn’t sure if he saw me or my marked unit. I was the only armed officer on-site. So I took cover behind a parked car. And I radioed my dispatch about the situation. The guy walked with the rifle inside 7-Eleven. That’s when I moved to a different location for cover. 3 minutes later, about 20 police cars pulled up. LAPD was trying to make the guy come out peacefully. 10 minutes later, the guy came out with his hands up and left the rifle inside the store. Luckily, no one had to get shot. The cops took my statement about what I saw. That was the most craziest and scariest shit I’ve ever experienced while working private patrol.
@@HumanEncoded Yeah I’m glad the guy wasn’t out to kill anyone that day. I watched him the whole time and never once saw him point the rifle at me or any innocent bystander. But if that was the opposite, then I would of had to make the life changing decision to defend myself or others.
