Higher fees on the way. What were the fitness centers doing before the crackdown on pools with no lifeguards watching? Did the fitness centers know the waivers were temporary?
Unless there are children in the pool and the adults in the pool sign a form that says that they know how to swim or prove that they can swim then I do not see a reason why health clubs should have life guards. Have we had a rash of people drowning in health club pools over the last couple of years? Has it become a problem? Or are bureaucrats just looking for something to do to feel important?
Word. Was gonna go for a dip and wondered why they shut the pool down smh. Pools for kids should have life guards but adult pools where most pools the deep is 5 feet now lol. Some ymca type of stuff is going on around here now
If you sell admissions for pool access you should have lifeguards on duty. Medical emergencies while excising are common. And besides life time has had lifeguards for at least a decade at their gyms in Vegas. Why did these gyms even have exceptions in the first place?
In the past if your gym was membership than you could have got aways with no life guard , keep in mind that hotels do not have any lifeguards unless they are a large resort
