Lifeless Planet 2013 Trailer 

I came here to watch a trailer for a video game, but got a self esteem boost from the comment section.

The OST and voice acting appear to be significantly better than the actual game itself from what I saw in the trailer. That's just my opinion though.

Sounds like the plot to a movie where the crew sets off for a far away world via FTL or suspended animation, they land on the planet to find it completely barren, but there are traces of life long ago. then near the end they find out that the planet is in fact earth and that humanity is long gone.

This actually looks very interesting i gotta say. For some reason, i get a kinda vibe from the adventure game The Dig. Really digging the sound, atmosphere.

The game is really good despite it opening with a hair-pulling navigation puzzle. I'm biased, though, I played it after my lady went missing in the desert, the story hit pretty hard.

considering how much i love space, i'm really looking forward for this game. I think this game might be the first of its kind!

I hope this game is still in major progress. I'm not usually into, that games have to look good to be good, I mainly disagree with that. But this is one of those games that just have to have an amazing open world where you can see endless beautiful fields of discovery, and detailed beautiful dynamics. Im not saying that that would be necessary, but it totally improve the game quite a bit.

What I'm guessing is the planet is messing with the astronaut's head and that's why he seeing Earth buildings, perhaps these are his memories?

What's with the Soviet Union?

First of all, i see plenty of life. Trees are living organism! Second, Whats up with the soviet flag all over the place, is this a lifeless planet or soviet planet? also can't go faster than speed of light, from the space suit and the landing module it is clear that this guy is not from future, and he is using current technology. Moreover, from soviet flags, i assume soviets have gone there years before during the cold war. So to sum up, this game makes no sense.
