They have screwed everything up ruined light, food, lumber plastic, groceries and grocery bags,school ,college, work place, freedom just name it they ruined it.

yeah totally especially the lumens I didn't know how to find out the brightness of a lighbulb which is just look at the amount of it LUMENS

I was the same way in Wal-Mart. I bought the reveal soft white bulbs when I really needed the cool white bulbs to get the effect I wanted.

Yeah but what is better for certain environments? Does the led emit blue lighting that cause problems with sleep when placed in bedrooms? Does the led help reduce bacterial growth maybe for bathrooms or kitchen, entrance to house?

The LEDs flicker @ 60/second. Way better one$ flicker @ 120/sec. That drives some people nuts. Also, they ALL produce Ultra Violet light. Which is just past the blue light spectrum. The blue light screws with our meletonan production which can really screw up sleep for many people.. The UV light can be very bad for your retinas and the rest of you. Doing some research on this can help make a better informed decision. *** disclaimer*** I eat meat. I don't mind cutting down trees. I use RoundUp when necessary. I even swap out light switches with the power on. I'm in no way a "health nut". Those guys are ok if they just don't preach ;)

have you finished on this stupid move? we all know the incadescent bulbs are the best as their temperature is more appropriate to the sun light

Both the coolish light and yellowish light depends on how much power (watts) it contains so if you want a light bulb that perfectly bright for your small apartment then go for a light bulb that contains a higher lumen (level of brightness)

+Carlos Torres 2600K is the low yellow/orange light. 5000K or higher is the bright white/blue light. Also go by how many lumens they have. More lumens = more light no matter what the light spectrum. Do what I do. Mix one 2600k and one 5000k and it mixes to produce a very realistic daylight.

I hate yellow lights I've had them all my life hate them since i was a kid!

K is the temperature measured in kelvin. As you might know any object that is heated will eventually emit light. The lowest being red all the way to white. That is why flames are red/orange and stars are bright and white.

Casey I think Clear Incandescent lamps are pretty cool for those days without sun! Or LED bulbs that has temperature of around 4500k to 5000k.🌞

All you really need is bright, cool white bulbs. Just move the lamp to a position where it doesn't cast shadows.

My favorites are General Electric Reveal there are LED versions of it.

That's the reason why i came here is to find that out, I found out what i need by going to the " how to use light to grow plants"I found i'm looking for 1600 to 3000 of lumens and 4500 to 6500 of kelvins these numbers are for young plants
