I bought Mt Zoom QR skewers. Less than £25 and 45g for a pair. Titanium axle and aluminium lever. Been using them for a few years now and they're great.

Works great until it doesn't. I had a Colnago World Cup Cyclocross bike that I used some light skewers on. Pedaling a steep incline the rear wheel came out of the dropout and I flew over the bars. When I got up and looked at my bike it was done. It went to the landfill. The bike was only 7 months old too. My new bike has thru axles so no worries but even with thru axles I won't buy any of that light weight garbage again.

Still awaiting the review on your primes Fed. You've had them for sometime now and ad you havent reported on them yet so presume they are solid for all weather riding?

Hi, I have a couple of videos on the Prime RR-50 V3, when I got them for my first Ultimate and when I bought a second pair as well. Now they are called Doyenne 50 and, with the current offer on Wiggle, I don’t believe there is a better carbon wheelset in the market, price vs performance. I also tested them in Mallorca on some challenging descends. Braking in the wet is not great, as expected though. Only carbon wheels with carved brake track are acceptable it seems in the wet. Not the lightest at 1620g, but some are heavier and most are more expensive. They feel fast and I never had crosswind issues. For me highly recommended!

@@celestialemissary4934 check the hanger type with Canyon and see if it matches, there are 2 types for rim brakes if I remember correctly, with different holes for the screws.
