Wait, Silver says that he was able to keep awake due to thinking about Lilia, and we know that Silver is based off Aurora and her curse states that she can only wake up from “a true loves kiss” right? So what if, Silver’s love for his father was what kept him awake? If that makes sense
One thing I like is the fact that silver helped lilia to change because it was confirmed and stated by Lilia himself (before silver was even born) that he would NEVER have a child, much less a human. Maybe that’s why Lilia cut his hair shorter, to say a final farewell to his past-self and selfishness? It’s a nice touch how even the character’s design can impact the character too
Me after reading book 7: Silver I will protect you with my whole being and anyone who tries to hurt you won't see the light of day. I remember first seeing silver and thinking of him as boring and now he's one of my top 3.But in all honesty I love their dynamic.
I know right? When first seeing him I thought he would be a nothing character. Then I read book 7. Now He's in my top 5 and I want nothing more than him to have a happy ending.
What Silver says about how the thought of losing Malleus and Lilia or having to go against them terrifies him, hits so different now with everything that's happening in Book 7 😭😭
i think the raising children was a nightmare thing he was def talking about Malleus, but also talking about his lax behavior when it came to watching Silver. But Silver and Lilia's family life is so wholesome and it makes me cry.
Despite Silver being my absolute favorite character in Twisted Wonderland, sometimes I can't help but feel ...frustrated? Sad? At the fact that without Lilia & Malleus, Silver's character is basically nothing. Like, there are other characters who worship or depend on others in TWST, like Sebek or Ortho for example, but still, both of them didn't make those people their entire life. Sebek, while being Malleus' no. 1 fan, still got his own life going on, like his friendship with the first years or his problems as half-fae-half-human. On the other hand, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING Silver did has something to do with Lilia or Malleus. He wants to learn to cook? Joining the Fairy Gala? Heck, even his wish was reserved for Lilia. It's sad that the only thing that made him unique, is his sleeping illness that made him think less of himself. (Even then, until book 7 finish, we still don't know whether it got something to do with Lilia or Malleus past or not :v)
Silver, one of my favs and I hope as more stuff comes out. He gets a chance to step out as his own person, that doesn't rely on Malleus and Lilia to show who he is as a person. I can dream and I am hopeful in seeing what Book 7 has in store from that. Also, that backhand reply from Malleus about saying children are a handful even with magic... someone sounding jealous over there in sharing Lilia. XD
This is so interesting! Actually, this has got me wondering; were there any important changes to Malleus's dialogue? Maybe it'd make more sense to wait until Book 7 is out, but perhaps you could make a video before then, then make a follow-up after it releases?
I have checked all the dialogue from the events/main stories available on EN, and haven't come across anything too major for Malleus! :> Very much looking forward to EN's Book 7!
This is my favourite relationship in all of twst, it's absurd how many emotions these two make me feel, every single thing I learn about them is either adorable or rips my freaking heart out, the fact that practically the only time Silver ever smiles is when he's talking about his dad is just, it's not fair how adorable they are, I love them Also Book 7 spoilers: The bit where they reveal that the acorn bracelet that Lilia told Silver not to throw out because it was the most precious gift he ever received, and it turns out that Sver gave it to him and wished he'd live a long and healthy life, my poor heart 😭😭
