Yes to back tension help. I want to get a clicker but for now I am going more traditional or naked if that makes sense. I feel that no matter what my arrow is in terms of spine or grains or even length , so long as I know my arrows I want to improve my accuracy as much as I can through form and technique. So please explain back tension as clearly as you can.
Back tension with a traditional bow is only going to benefit you if the shot is breaking with back tension at the same point in the draw cycle every single time , so that is where the clicker comes in . If you don't use a clicker it's going to be very hard to get consistent back pressure and arrow flight because of that . Back tension is the movement i discuss in the video of your elbow drawing that horizontal line while you are at full draw opening your chest and expanding into your spine .
I would use the clicker as a tool to help you develop that consistency in your draw and once you find your consistency switch the clicker to a psycho trigger instead of a draw check. I hope that makes sense
