Fuel Pump Control module @3:31 and @3:49 that's your subwoofer box. @4:13 that box, is the amplifier for the cabin speakers inside the car. and @4:45 that is the little amplifier for the subwoofer in the plastic casing.
Thanks so much for doing this video I just got me a 2007 signature series with 85 k miles last august and it didn't come with the auto lift feature but I hope to see if that part of the wire harness is there and get the drive box thingy to hook it up because it's just an awesome feature to have thanks brother
Thank you for the idea! It was interesting to explore. Based on what other commenter stated - it's the same motor as for power windows so maybe will be easy to install.
I have an ‘07 Presidential with this feature, even has a pull cable in case one of the bodies I put in there is still alive, just pull the cable and, voila, trunk opens!
Hi Lincoln guy thank you we have an ‘03 Presidential Town Car remote no longer works can you give me trouble shoot why 🙃 also the truck release button in car just stopped working any ideas
My 2005 Lincoln Towncar Signature Limited stopped operating properly. I can activate it opening with the key fob but I must be ready to catch the trunk lid and force it up with much force. I’ve had four back surgeries so keeping it open takes much effort. The use of my trunk is therefore virtually eliminated.
Can you show how the pull down works. Mine malfunctioning and i need to know what I'm getting myself into before i take it apart. Same vehicle but basic signature 06 tiwn car. I have no motorized trunk tho. Only pull down.
Thought I would let u know,my 06 DTS doesn’t have it..that is a power window motor if u ever need to replace it.. That is a cool feature, wish all these cars had it myself..
Yes,not sure if it is left or right motor, left front window motor is the same as the right rear, right from the same as left rear, not positive, but I think the trunk motor is left front, driver motor, lot of manufacturers use widow motors, tough little motors, very easy to rebuild or replace the gears in..
@@VitaliyKofman Oh okay. My grandpa has s signature with the pulldown but no power trunk. I think it is just signature series and not signature limited that’s why.
Love your videos. I have a question about the rear park sensors. I have a 2003 Lincoln Town Car Cartier and have had the parking sensor fixed 3 times. it works fine for a while then i get the rear disabled message in the car. I'm at wits end with this continuing persistent problem. Plus its expensive to fix. One thing I've noticed is your parking sensor are not exposed on your rear bumper like mine. Again love your videos. Thanks
Thank you! From 2006+ parking sensors were hidden behind bumpers for cleaner look. Why other manufacturer's to this day didn't adapt this is beyond me... Sounds to me like it's the wiring issue and something is shorting out. Unfortunately I'm not a mechanic so can't advise further.
There exposed, got to make sure they stay clean from anything pretty much, when it gets cold with frost, they kinda go crazy at times .. Can’t remember if my 05 Lincoln are exposed or not,I no my 91 don’t hav them at all ..can’t recall having any problems out of my 05 either..
@@americanbreed5116 Thanks! I think I'll cars now have all the sensors exposed. Must be some regulation thing. This is the first car I ever owned that has these sensors. I either had the backup camera or nothing at all.
I'm no expert at this, but you'll need the motor and mounting brackets, as well as the electrical connection with remote control. It's also designed to work with the auto trunk pull down so you'll need to rig that. Not sure if it's worth all the efforts and expenses.
I'm sorry, but I don't know what you mean? As far as I know, Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis never had auto-trunk motor, but I believe the trunk liner can be removed the same way. If you are trying to put that motor in Crown Victoria, you can probably attach it. Please let me know if I understand you correctly :)
@@mrtitanium1074 I think it's possible. You will have to buy the motor and attachment arms, mount it in the same spot and I think the hardest part will be figuring out the electrical connection.
It will require some drilling and assembly, but pretty sure it can be done, but I'll be honest with you - it's a pretty useless feature that looks cool, but highly unnecessary. Looking forward to more of your videos :)
