Linda is the best medium for exposition ever imagined. Just have her sing about the plot of the episode at the beginning and no one will ever doubt it. It's just Linda.
That moment I think really does define the show (and this was during the first season when the show was more cynical and the characters were more aggressive). He doesn't like dinner theater, but does understand that it makes Linda happy, and that makes him happy. The closeness of the family really is the most important part of the show
Bob: So, Linda alright Linda: Not tonight! NO! Bob: Ok Linda: Not tonight. NO! Bob: I GET IT!! Talk about the coldest shutdown in television history 🥶😂 The best mom in animated history. Plus she's a ride or die kind of woman
I think I read an interview where the reason why Linda randomly starts singing stuff is because her VA, John Roberts, does it in the recording booth and the producers decide to keep it in because they think it suits his character
For Mother’s Day I made a list on Facebook of the greatest fictional mothers ever. Linda came in 2nd because of her never ending support for her family. She was only beaten by Bambi’s Mother.
One of my favorites is when Louise is pitching the role of a singing character in the “meat-mation stop-motion” episode and Linda’s like “I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IIIIIIIT~~~~!”
It's a radio played song from the 80s?? Or around then. "Amedaus". They're trying to use annoying loud noises to get the raccoons out of the wall, like noise torture. 😅
