I have one of these units and I’ll tell you if anyone is reading, this is a fantastic and thorough review! Awesome playing man. You really know how to use FX and how to make them shine. I wish I was as skilled as you at using the unit! I only have 2 criticisms of the unit. 1) The overdrive sounds aren’t great so I need to use external ODs/Distortions. The delays, chorus, verbs, trems, phaser, and flanger, EQ, master noise gate, looper etc. Are all good. 2) Cant do the 4 cable method on M9. Only the M13. Nice review
Estoy a punto de adquirirlo, tengo un pre blackstar, el compresor que tal se comporta por el loop fx que seria donde lo mandaria ya que en esta unidad no se puede el metodo de 4 cables.

Hello, Thanks for this video. I just found out you played at Santa Maria Blues where I grew up. Question for you. I am building a pedal board with the Line 6 M9 but I find the delays are too low in volume. Should I get a booster and compressor pedals for my signal chains?
It has the exact same effects as all the other M series. I feel however the M9 and M13 sound a little better, but probably I'll Have to do a real comparison, side to side to figure it out.
Hey, Budda! You get terrific sounds out of the M9! Even the leslie sounds great! Which is difficult. May I ask you which effect you use on 8:45? That's because I couldn't find a polyphonic Octaver in the manual. Cheers!

The M9 has way more effects and all the possibilities of the DL4. Bit you can mix other effects with delays. The tweak and tweez are all available on the m series under different names.

Estava inclinado a comprar a echo park + a M5, mas depois do que vi aqui, estou decidido a comprar esta. Pelo mesmo valor (em 2a mão) fico com 3 slots de efeitos! Estou curioso a respeito da fonte de alimentação, o que usas para a M9? Li que aceita 9vDC (500mA são suficientes?) mas preferia ouvir de fonte segura. Parabéns pelo excelente canal. Boas. É uma excelente opção. Eu uso power supply da Harley Benton ou da truetone com 500ma. Nem todas as fichas são para os line 6 por causa do diâmetro, mas a TrueTone vem com adaptador por exemplo. Obrigado pela força

I don't want this pedal for the drive since I use analog pedals, so my question is, in these things I'm forced to use the drives in the chain?? Or can I just put modulations?? because i don't waste foots for drives
Sounds pretty sick, do u use the M9 connected to the loop of the amp? or how is the routing of your pedalboard? I'm guessing that all your distortions go to the front and the M9 goes to the loop.

Olá budda. Conheces o line 6 MM4? A modulação da M9 é a mesma do MM4 ou foi melhorada? Em relação ao MM4 especificamente tens algum feedback (qualidade dos efeitos, switch’s, etc)? Abc
Paulo Madeira a m9 é muito melhor compra do que qualquer um dos outros (mm4, dl4, etc). Porque tens todos esses pedais na mesma caixa e tens memórias comece para saberes quais os settings de cada memória, e tens o loop também. Em termos de qualidade parece-me no mínimo equivalente, mas tenho a sensação de que é melhor.
Jaik Cooper I’ve changed the footswitchs because they were not working properly. I think that’s main fault of this unit. All the rest is perfect. And yes I still use it a lot. Actually I use the M5, the M9 and the M13 Thanks for asking
WTF do you mean 'out of date'? Good sound doesn't go out of date. Go but an Axe FX if you are more interested in scrolling through menus, these effects are as good as any.
