The fact Ant-Man gets no respect for thinking about time traveling saddens me . I mean iron man figured out how to navigate it but Ant-Man deserves some credit.
@@infinityverse5104 Ah I hate everyone giving credit to the rat. Dr. Strange was the hero. He had to live several painful lifetimes worth of that battle to ensure victory.
Everybody in the MCU has access to and uses time travel. It is the trope that fixes EVERYTHING. I don't see the big fucking deal with giving HIM credit? Thank the writers. Besides, Doctor Strange first thought of defeating Thanos with time travel back in Infinity Wars. He just didn't tell anyon because if he did, then it wouldn't happen. So fuck Ant Man and his tiny ass.
when Tony and Nebula were drifting in space at the beginning, Tony said in his recording that "it's been 21 days...no... 22". It's a reference to the MCU movies, Endgame is the 22nd movie to conclude all 21 movies before it.
@@abinothayyilsanoj4182 in infinity war, Drax said that he had mastered the skill of standing so still that he became invisible to the eye. That was a reference. I meant that he was invisible that's why Gamora can't be with him.
Fr. You can’t have a better last line to Tony than that. Tony ever since avengers 1, dealt with so much from it. And in Iron Man 3, he said that he hardly got any rest because of his PTSD from the attack. This line was absolutely perfect
@Williamgrahamx that line also make Tony realize how much his father actually love him. He hated Howard because Howard was harsh toward Tony all the time but then Tony realize his father is trying his best to be a father and a mentor
When they all went back in time to get the infinity stones, Black Widow says "See you all in a minute". Then when they all returned, she was the only one who didn't come back.
@@theinevitable719 We will see that in GoG Vol.3. I am sure that Starlord will try to bring Gamora back and if he success then: welcome back Black Widow. I know that Bruce tried to bring her but we don't know if he tried every possible solution.
And when Cap saw that he got Stormbreaker, he actually looked at it, and had that "huh, that's funny" look on his face, before he noticed that Thor had Mjolnir xD
Remember when Tony came back from Afghanistan in the first Iron Man film and says to Happy Hogan he wants an American cheeseburger? In Endgame Happy talks to Morgan who says she wants a cheeseburger, just like her father wanted. Beautiful call back to the very beginning of the MCU.
Avengers: End Game Nebula: "My father is many things. A liar isn't one of them." Avengers: Infinity War Thanos: "I taught you a lot of things, Gamora. I never taught you to lie though."
It's funny that Disney won't allow a rated r movie with deapool to happen easily...but then it's ok for kids to see thanos be beheaded with no warning lol
It actually contradicts their terms.According to the license "beheading" aren't allowed in MCU movies(Dr.strange beheading just had a shadow). But they still went for it in endgame
Yeeeesssssssss! That was one of the best lines of not the best for me. I don’t like to make noise and mess up movies for anyone else but I had to say something at that part !
Stark to Rodgers “everything special about you came from a bottle” Rodgers to stark “you’re not the guy to make the sacrificial play” Looks like they were both wrong
When talking to Tony about his soon to be child, Howard Stark mentions how he would prefer a girl because it would be less of a chance to be like him, who's own self-interest is more important than the greater good. At the end of the movie Tony Stark sacrifices himself thus placing the greater good above his own self interest and fulfilling his father's wish for his child.
What a new trilogy that would be. The new movie starts with Cap returning the stones. We see all that happened and then he stays back in ww2 era. He not only gets the dance but as we all know his girl was a Shield founder so he'll still be in the thick of it. Now we make movies about his involvement in this timeline. Imagine how crazy the world would go if that was announced in a couple years?
She's an orphan, she was trained to grow up as an assassin by the russian, the project is called the Black Widow program, she tried to find love for herself, but failed to do so everytime, sacrificing herself for the sake of saving half of the living beings in the universe. She selfless and miserable, she died alone. There are a lot more details to it tho.
@@maheshbhardwaj4125 If he did that thanos would still have won because there was 1 way the avengers could have won and we saw it. Iron man had to die for them to succeed.
@@maheshbhardwaj4125 When you still dont understand why it had to be done that way. Dr. Strange looked at MILLIONS of outcomes. Pretty sure that was the only way...
"As far as I see it, that's America's ass!," -Scott Lang 2019 XD Edit I wanted to add this one but I forgot since it sounds cool but this one liner stood out to me as much as the last one. "The only thing that is permanent is impermanence". -Thor 2019.
I think u all r wrong. I don't think Tony started designing the time machine when ant man gave the idea. He was simulating the time machine since a long time. Watch the movie carefully. The way he tells potts how the he has finally solved it, doesn't look like he was just working on that since 1 day.
*Thor attempts to summon Mjolnir after meeting his mother...* Frigga: Sometimes, it takes a few moments *Mjolnir flies into Thor's hand* Thor: I'm still worthy! Frigga: *smiles knowingly* Sorry if that wasnt accurate as I was already blubbering in my popcorn at this part of the scene. Thor had pretty much hit rock bottom during that 5-year gap. Over and above everything else he'd lost, he lost hope, confidence, and any sense of purpose or well-being. The conversation with his mother was a much-needed balm to his wounded soul, but he also wanted validation that he was still the man his father, Odin, wanted him to become. Freya also understood that, and IMHO said those words to answer Rocket's question as much as to assure her son.
Maybe he's more worthy now than he ever was. Everything he's been through, everyone he's lost, he's a better man for it whether he realizes it or not. I mean, he HAS to be more worthy, right? Otherwise wouldn't Past Thor be able to recall Mjolnir when it began to fly away?
Update: (making my suggestion more fluid, omitting happily, more smooth. Adding additional after thought) Bad writing. Thanos should have said " I gave you everything! And I'll do it again!!!!!! Or just I gave you everything. The original line came off like " why you mad bro" "what did i do to you" super lame. Thanos is a genius he already knew future self succeeded.
@@likewater1429 What you just suggested sounds so incredibly cringy. And it wouldn't make sense for him to say that, as he literally has no idea what he did to her because he's never seen her before.
@@williamboulle1190 WRONG and the 4 people who supported your comment is more amusing. Thanos is very intelligent. He was aware his future self succeeded so very common deduction he would make that scarlet witch was talking about losing people she cared about. The way you expressed not liking my suggestion was immature and all evidence supports my side. I win good night
3:12 She said "no" to humble him. She saw the future and knew that he wouldn't give up, so when Strange said "teach me," she knew that he wouldn't be submissive at all unless given rejection. This allowed for Strange to know that it was a privilege to learn there, and this is why he was motivated to try his hardest at his studies.
Honestly, that fight scene was my favorite part of the movie. A perfect mirror of the fight during the first Avengers movie when she was trying to capture him. How both of them were fighting to be the one to make the sacrifice. I didn't think Black Widow would survive, but I didn't see that ending coming.
"hold me kid, hold me" that was one of the most emotional lines in the movie.. it was nothing more but a mumble from stark to peter but it showed how much stark wanted to see him. peter was the reason why he wanted to go back in time, to bring peter back. when he went back to earth, the first thing he said was he lost the kid and that shows how important parker is to him. it was because of peter all along and when he said to peter to hold him, it was the moment he knew he succeeded
“ Not that it’s competition or anything but she loves me 3000 and your in the 600-900 ranges so, just saying. “ -Tony Stark. Edit: Lol thanks for the likes I love y’all 3000
I turned my heart to ice for the ending. My throat was trying to break it. I succeeded were others failed. I got to the car and my heart grew ten sizes and they came out. I failed happily. Haven’t eaten a cheeseburger since
The ancient one knew that if she taught strange off the bat he is only doing it to expand his knowledge he has no care for the fact of what to do with such powers and he'd probably turn out like kaecilius or mordo even to go using dark magic and venturing into things too powerful and having no control over it, she knew strange had to earn what responsibilities are required to be the sorcerer supreme
The importance being tony wouldn't have sacrificed himself.Howard said to him he doesn't want his kid to be like him and considered the greater good rarely outweighing his own self interest awful. Tony obeyed his old man.Even in death I am the son my father wanted to be.
Bucky: "Don't do anything stupid until I get there." Steve: "How could I? You're taking all the stupid with you." Before Cap went and return the stones they said the same lines in Captain America: the First Avenger when Bucky was leaving for the army :')
At the end of endgame when Happy was sitting on the porch with Tony's daughter Morgan and he asks her if she's hungry and she says yea, he asks her what does she want and she says "cheese burger" then Happy looks up and smiles and says sure, you can have all the cheese burgers you want. It's a call back to the first Ironman when Tony was rescued and the first thing he wanted was a cheeseburger when he got off the plane. And he sat and ate it at the press conference. Happy remembered.
Bucky is also the reason he could lift the hammer. If Civil War is to be believed during Age of Ultron Cap already knows Bucky very well may have killed Tonys parents and decided not to tell him as its after WS. By Endgame he has made himself worthy again
I mean, unlike DC's "mArThA!" this one was actually believable. It didn't cause 2012 Cap to do a complete face-turn or anything, just sort of got a confused "What did you just say?" before getting blatted in the face with an elbow.
@@Actiontime70 he means at the end. Cap had to return the stones to the points in time they were taken to stop there being alternate timelines. So although we didn't see it he would have had to take the soul stone back to vormir and interact with Red Scull, which would have been interesting to watch. Hope that explains it.
Even i thought cap will vo for soul stone as he had nothing left to live for after sam, bucky, peggy and most of his friends gone nothing precious left
The soul stone can not be returned unless he had the help of the ancient one. Not to mention some of the stones still needed to be put back in their proper containers.
"He is meant to be the best of Us" Dr Strange will be the most powerful sorcerer Supreme. LET'S hope He'll lead next gen of MCU heroes like Tony.. Cumberbatch was always one of the favorites
@@juliansmit3770 Too late now.. Brie larson has made too many public appearances and statements making her character being the leader as next wave as if it somehow benefits to entire female population. If Captain Marvel doesn't lead it as a star, she is going to make big deal in media about it.. I think they pretty much have to go through with it. You can kind of see that one unnecessary scene in end game too. Disney/Marvel are now on a mission. : )
@@lightupdarkness NO! Time travel doesn't affect what already happened. Nothing can be retconned nor changed with time travel, it's just another reality
I think one of the significant lines will be: Hulk: Maybe he made a mistake. Ancient One: Or I did. I keep feeling like her reply is going to be significant.
She knows Doctor Strange wouldn't have given up the stone unless it was the only way to defeat Thanos in the end, so when Bruce was asking for the stone it seemed like she realized that Strange purposely gave away the stone in order to trigger that specific set of events with which Bruce would need the stone. Essentially I thought her saying "Or I did" was her either admitting she should have given him the stone sooner or realizing that not giving Bruce the stone would be a mistake that would trigger a different set of events for the future resulting in some kind of reality where Thanos wins. Maybe I'm just confused but that's what I gathered from it haha.
@@EvanCorndog I thought that too but the more I thought about it, it didn't seem like she was using past tense to refer to the stone. Still, unless Tilda Swinton is in the cast of Dr. Strange 2: Life is Stranger, it's probably just a case of me thinking too hard on it.
@@markkramer5740 I interpreted that line as she used the Time Stone to determine who would be the new guardian, BUT she is questioning if she went through enough future timelines (or far enough) and may have banked on the wrong guy. Basically, she stopped "watching" at the end of what we saw in the Dr Strange movie and is now questioning whether her choice was a mistake.
@@zikikki1 she said when she dying in hospital during strange movie that she never get past to see the 1st snow , she wasnt able to see anything or any event after that ( thanos ) even using time stone
Fatal_Dubstep Little do you know that wasn't just any rat. That was Mystique from the future X-Men Spin off. :) She eventually has a love affair with Antman and they have little blue ant rat babies together.
In a weird way so did I. I was sitting there wondering the whole movie when he would get back into shape. Like I tricked myself into thinking the asgardians had this weird super metabolism or something so that it would show a quick montage of him getting back into shape and boom, regular thor. But nope! Lol
A few important lines “I am inevitable “ “And I......am......iron man” “Avengers......assemble “ “I love you 3000” “You couldn’t live with your own failure. And where did that bring you? Back to me” “I went for the head”
This is not important but it’s a really nice callback: When Cap is alone and Thanos calls his army, Sam says “On your left” when he comes through the portal. If you recall, in Captain America: Winter Soldier, Cap would always say “On your left” when jogging by Sam. It’s great.
@@nunuright8166 he got antman out of the quantum realm, and then antman told the avengers that they could use that for time travel to unsnap the universe, which they did, and we all know they wouldnt have without that because it was 5 years and they didnt try
