So here’s the thing. Life long dream to see this guy but he never plays in the UK and this was his last tour. So I flew from London to New York just for this one show. I had nowhere to stay and got a last minute flight and gig ticket. I had 3 hours sleep in 48hrs and flew back the next day (slept at JFK) wouldn’t regret it for the world. Amazing night
I can remember when you couldn't walk down the road in my neighborhood, without hearing Frampton comes alive coming from a few houses on the block !! This album takes me back to Jr. High , when your biggest problems were a math or history test . Simpler times .
Such a melodic beautiful solo, no shred, no pull offs, no hammer on's, just great technique . What the hell? One of the tastiest players ever in my mind. A real guitar hero.
"You are my family and friends" -- back atcha. Gonna miss you Frampton. You made the best live album of all time and I really can't imagine that achievement ever being topped. San Francisco, 1975. So many good things that year.
It could also be argued that his live album with Humble Pie, Rockin the Fillmore is the greatest hard rock album of all time. I love all his work through the years but for my taste his contributions to his time with Humble Pie is better than his solo stuff, which I do love especially Frampton's Camel. Such a powerful performance.. He is one with the instrument and plays with passion and emotion. The genius type that comes along very rarely. Peter Frampton thanks for all the great music. God Bless
My favourite album of all time Frampton Comes Alive with Peter Bob Mayo on Keyboards John Siomis on Drums and Stanley Sheldon on Bass will never tired of listening to it gutted that you're all not still with us but thanks to technology can still watch you

That second solo here and on the live album, Frampton Comes Alive! is one of my favorite guitar solos ever. So much emotion there. He's painfully under rated as a guitar player too.
I love this song. I got to see Frampton in LA last weekend. Frampton is going out at the peak of his game. I will miss his concerts, but he has left us so many great recordings to last a few lifetimes. Check out my review if you get a chance.
So cool to see and listen to this. Saw him in the fabulous 70s at the garden. So knowledgeable of, so articulate about the guitarists before him that influenced him. A really cool human being, musician and guitarist. So nice that he is still on the scene. "You can't erase a dream. You can only wake me up..." My favorite Frampton lyric.
Through all the broken relationships, this song was too much, but now that I'm "older", it is one of my favorite Frampton songs due to the raw emotions it brings out so I can heal....
I saw Peter do his iconic song "Do You Feel Like We Do " at the L.A. Forum in 1977. Frampton played a guitar solo, then a piano solo, then a drum solo in the same song… a 30 minute version of his masterpiece….AMAZING
Awesome inspiring night....living legend ., I was there. Even met the "Japanese Jimmy" that evening as Jason Bonham was the terrific opener. I've seen Frampton 3x since. Recently start of the latest tour in Redbank New Jersey couple weeks ago. Super band super shape Peter is sitting now, but actually, if you play guitar, you know sitting gives you the ability to do some things better than standing He was in good spirits. Came out to thank us personally at the end because of the energy we gave him. Always a nice guy, smart and funny and by the way, he can play like few people.... He's been mixing Barney Kessel and his other heroes together for decades. Now it's always an amazing experience, a little bit different, Never destroying anything. Nicely arranged. and always majestic. Kudos to Rob, his keyboard player and musical Director and the latest band. Go see him while you can. It's fabulous. It always was. As great as his guitar playing was/is, the lyrics in this song can move one to tears in just the right moment(s). Anyone who has had their heart broken by the one they have loved or has experienced unrequited love…this song speaks to anyone as well as the best of Taylor Swift’s or Beyoncé’s songs do. (Yeah, I said it.)
God didn't take Peter's gift away, HE GAVE IT TO HIM.... The human body is frail and susceptible to wear and tear, diseases and all kinds of sickness... The truth is that this world is (if you haven't noticed) NOT PERFECT... This is not utopia or heaven... Our human bodies die and return to dust, but we are all much more than mere flesh and bone... I know that you know this because the core of your being, your very spirit, is a witness and speaks to you of this truth... We all leave our fleshly bodies behind, but our spirit (who we really are) is eternal.... Some to eternal life... others to eternal death.... I know that you know what I'm speaking of, and you don't need me to spell it out for you.... But here's the thing, Vinnie... and let me encourage you in this = CHOOSE LIFE --- I hope you will... there's more to share... I pray that Peter will be there too... He's done that. Years ago. He walked out with a great big crazy blonde wig. It was hilarious. He's got a sense of humor about it. I love the "Classic" Frampton era. And also today. Breaks my heart this is the end for him.

Totally the one Album to take on a deserted Island......and this is the Single Track. I was a 12 year old punk when this hit....and America shoved Lief Garret and the Osmunds on me. Peter Frampton is Timeless.......and we all bought that record any way we could.......it's THAT GREAT! This was always my favorite track Missing my old Camaro........
