Linh Dinh’s "Postcards from the End of America", with Jeff J Brown on China Rising Radio Sinoland 

Jeff, I am new to your blog post, and welcome your viewpoints and your guests. My first impression is I agree with you that China is rising but not necessarily all of it is goodness. I wholeheartedly agree that my home, the USA, is in a steep decline, primarily from driven from the betrayal form the top down and it makes me very sad. China and America compete for a variety of reasons, objectives and principles domestically, and globally. I believe it is very important to keep an eye on both internal and external dynamics, as well as their relationships to one another. I am sure you have your detractors. I hope to be an active viewer and commentator. I will be an advocate for the US, and will always be honest doing so. I never subscribed to the notion that the word advocacy contain any Latin roots indicative of bias, lying and obfuscation. We will at times disagree, as I see the benefits of capitalism and socialism, but we will always engage for the better. I really liked Linh Dinh's talk with Chris Hedges. I am enjoying this one but wish the audio for Mr. Linh was better.

Jeff, sound quality dude. This too important. I don't want to miss things like this but I gotta go another channel. Thought you'd want to know.

Jeff - I am very concerned where America has been headed. I understand better now your perspective and your place on the internet. It probably goes without saying that I am no fan of either China or Russia, as I believe they too are headed wrongly. No one can doubt China's increase in economic prosperity, political influence and military strength. Russia is tying to get on the same trajectory, but have not managed corruption as well as China has. That does not mean I am an enemy of the people. Instead, I am focused on understanding issues facing my country and helping to overcome them. So I will probably avoid, and apologize every time I forget, not to get emotionally wrapped up in some verbal, and all-too-often disrespectful slug-fest on whose hand is on top of the bat. I'd rather point put where China is doing the smarter thing, the not so smart thing, and the flat our bad thing. I will also counter-balance that with the mistakes America makes a priori, posteriori, or reflexively to China's moves. Lastly, some Asian trivia - Do you remember the publication Far Eastern Economic Review? I miss that rag.
