You did very well for a first set of IEMs, these are very good sounding for their price Usually the connectors have an L and R on them to help you (or red indicating right and blue for left). It's important to get it right, or you'll get polarity issues (easily checked with sound demo) IEMs also come in many driver configs and tunings. Just be mindful of your spending if you want to play around
