Bankrupt or not, he was always an artist. He was one of the golden people of sixties London.

Beautiful talented soul. Greatly missed.

The interviewer is playing the hard faced type. That was quite fashionable in the 70s. Bart's charm wins the day.

Unbelievable talent. To write every song in Oliver! , lyrics AND music is a momentous achievement. I can't think of another original musical where almost every song is a showstopper. Genius.

Uncomfortable to watch her as interviewer!

Interesting time capsule piece, but cringe-worthy interview. Who in the world cares about his bankruptcy? He should have told her that it's his personal business and to move on to the next question. Would have liked to know much more about his amazing song-writing ability. Wasted opportunity.
