The Detroit Lions, like the rest of the league, are in the middle of their minicamps. And this time of year we start to see emerging playmakers, and the Lions are no different. Their is one Lions rookie in particular that is off to a great start. Fans of the Detroit Lions should be exited by this news.

Vaki was a receiver in high school. He had 1,400 yards in receptions his senior season.

Everyone is ignoring that last year we carried a fullback. We could very well keep 4 rbs and use Rodrigo, mitchell, etc... even vaki himself as a fullback.

Don't count Reynolds out he has some high quality runs and blocks. There is room for both on the team. They are both MCDC kind of guys.

With Vaki, Gibbs and the Williams bros WR. Lions And Co. gonna get real tricky! Play action all day. Big tight ends! gonna be a beautiful sight. Hell bring in Hooker every once in a while to give Jarod a breather, have him run some options or throw a long ball lol throw teams off.

Wingo is going to surprise some people I think. Then rakestraw will also do well but from the nickel position and of course terrion Arnold is going to be a dog but idk about right away. Vaki will be a great special teams player and I could see him eventually being used on the offensive side of the ball with how much Ben Johnson likes to spread the ball around

Vaki will save roster spots. He can play Safety, WR, RB, FB, KR, PR, and Gunner. One player can be a backup at multiple places and be a starter on special teams. If the Lions do not protect Craig Reynolds he will be snapped up by some team so I think he will be RB3 but Vaki will be a special teamer who can play many places if needed. I think Betts is going to be a suprise, he is going to be a rotational DE on passing downs.

The fact that he can also play safety is nice. For one roster spot you have a guy that can cover RB if needed or safety if needed.

This is what I think happens, and it makes sense.... Reynolds will get cut and not claimed. We then put him on the PS as insurance in case one of the RB's gets hurt. Guy is a proven vet that knows the O.

Reynolds would be claimed if he was on waivers guaranteed. So keep 4 RB

First of all Reynolds has great hands. I don't know what this guy is talking about. Just because he has 10 career catches doesn't mean he can't catch. Just means he doesn't play that much. You'll need to pump the brakes. Next year, yes. This year no way.

He is obviously a better RB then a TE. Hope he can be our 3rd RB.

TE? He was a WR in highschool. But don't know of any 6' 210lb TEs.

Hey you guys do know that Reynolds has been off the team for 4 or 5 months I think now I think he went to Denver. The Lions won to sign up for one year 2 years or something like that but I think he got 3 years for a boatload of money
