If I remember correctly, this game was on a day full of terrific games, I think it was when the Ravens and Vikings scored something like 36 points in the final few minutes, and Antonio brown nearly got a crazy td on the final play of the game against the Dolphins but he barely stepped out of bounds.
Yes. You omit the Pats coming back from two scores down in the final minute vs the Browns, also. It was probably one of the best Sundays in recent NFL history. Although I think 2008 week 6 is clearly #1
Thank you for bringing back those painful memories.... Also if he was inbounds and scored that game winning touchdown we would've made the playoffs... damn I've never been so happy and then so depressed before in my entire life
I want to see Matt Ryan and Julio in a snow game I feel like they would go crazy playing a game like backyard football it’s could happen in the chiefs game they play in December
I waa there to. Thing is it was never suppose to snow like that so no one dressed for it. Only thing that kept me warm was a hoodie and beer, alot of beer.
He was good as just a coach in Philadelphia at first but when he was running the same like 8 plays that he was running from day one and didn't allow his QBs to audible, it became like Tecmo Bowl where if the defense guessed the right play it was over.
Wow I thought this game was from 2015 or 2014. I remember sitting in pluckers with my family watching this. I hate to say it but time sure does fly if you're forgetful.
Before this game, I wasn't that big of a football fan and didn't really follow the eagles or any team. I remember being bored that Sunday and decided to turn on the game, and after watching it, football has become my number one favorite sport and I'm currently a season ticket holder for the eagles.#Flyeaglesfly
I remember watching this game when I was 15 years old. I'm a Saints fan, but they weren't playing at the moment, so I watched the Eagles instead, and I had a blast watching that game. Such great memories.
I feel bad for the Eagles. They had a solid core in Foles, Jackson and McCoy, and Chip Kelly gave that all away, seriously thinking Bradford and Sanchez were a winning quarterback duo.
Eh, I don't think they lived up to their potential. They went 8-8 and 4-12 in their final two seasons together. I think Vick got a little over-hyped just because of his admittedly stellar performance in the 2010 season.
I'd be cool if the solution to CTE issues was always playing football games in snow. Slows the game down for one thing. It also serves as a nice cushion for dives and falls. Plus, it's awesome watching football in snow!!! Amazing game!
Ive only played one game in the snow in my life, and yeah it was fun but the opposing team's QB was like a 4 star recruit and his balls always came in hot and after defending 3 passes and nearly intercepting 1, I couldnt grab anything with my hands the rest of the week. There's also a shit ton of slipping and sliding and shit which makes it hard as shit to make tackles
I remember watching this game live it was fuckin awesome. Im a Seahawks fan and I just love watching games as a neutral fan bc i can just enjoy the football that is being played without too much stock in who wins or loses, it's a hell of a lot less stressful lol
I was at that game. I parked out by Novacare. I'm in a wheelchair and I had about an inch of snow on me getting from the parking lot into the stadium. It was crazy because they were only predicting about an inch or two
Had everything every football different group fan loves points grimy weather speed power fantasy points every kind of version of football fan should for once agree onto this being a true underrated classic
I remember a Green Bay vs. Denver game in about '84 that had heavy snow. There was a punt that got downed inside the 5 because it got stuck in a snow drift when it landed. Kinda easy to spot the ball in these conditions.
This was without a doubt the best snow game i have ever seen ..... i am talking the amount of snow not the game .... even tho i'm an Eagles fan ..... The best game with snow in it had to be the Raiders vs. Patriots
Wow good times! I remember when i was playing football in 6th grade and it was raining So Bad the whole day. You couldnt even see at times and the field had huge deep puddles of water and we would dog pile on top of eachother so the kids on the bottom drown in the mud water. It just poured Rain non stop. I couldnt believe they let us play the game. it was so much fun. Good Times!
lol I live in Spokane, we are the example of why you don't stereotype the whole state of Washington as being rainy. and temperate, Snowy summers but hotter and drier summers than Seattle. None the less, most of us are still blue and greem blooded, Go Seahawks!
I remember my dad and I got tickets to this game, but we got stuck going down I-95 on the way there because of the snow, so we watched the rest of the game in a bar in South Philly.
damn i remember this day. It was supposed to snow maybe a couple of cms/not really stick and instead we got that haha. All the roads were so bad because the city didn't expect this at all.
I understand NFL's uniform policy means the away team should wear white, but in these kind of games they should be forced to wear their colored jerseys.
Tbh I feel like that rule is really stupid in general. There are only a handful of potential matchups that occur regularly in the NFL where both teams wearing their home jersey, which is usually better looking than their away jerseys, would really causes any sort of confusion at all for the refs/fans/players
Certain color combinations do need to be avoided. Remember a few years ago when the Bills and Jets played in their Thursday Night color rush game with one wearing red and one wearing green? Colorblind viewers couldn't tell who's who or what's what. Then the Rams and 49ers played another color rush game in yellow and red, and immediately the game became known as "ketchup and mustard."
