Science Team! This is one of the strangest science-phenomenon I’ve ever worked with! Liquidized sand is so strange. It’s nothing more than a fluid (nitrogen gas in our case) forced into a solid (like sand) resulting is the solid acting like a fluid!

For our build we used the following
1. ¾ inch red type copper pipe
2. T type nitrogen cylinder
3. Glass beads from Grainger
4. Plastic container from Home Depot (ours was about 2 feet long, 1 ft deep, 1 ft wide)
5. Noshok needle valve ¼ NPT M-F
6. 580 adapter (for nitrogen cylinder)
7. Brass fittings (all ¾) from Home Depot to fit 580 adapter to needle valve to brass nipple (the thing that goes in the clear tubing)
